http://www.nixim.com/pedmod.html).  Furthermore, there was no information as to pedal settings included with the package, although it was relatively easy to track these down at RSC, where there is a forum dedicated to the mod (http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?s=368b20c415caa909d8e97f5a5a962dad&t=299075

Cheers for that Dave.

But why call it an eraser, and deny our trans Atlantic cousins the opportunity for a bit of rubber innuendo?

 lol

Well Dave, excellent review m8, but you couldhave gone into the local bookstore and gotten 3 or 4 more erasers.... to put behind the wheels of your chair!

i wonder if they put the Nixim logo on that expensive eraser though?  or on the packaging? Wish you had pictures of this pathetic but effective mod.

no pictures or advertising... is just a chunk of brown rubber; a little harder on the edges, with a squidgy middle... but do not underestimate this mod... i don't think i've locked a brake since fitting it, and my times have improved on most tracks.  The key here is consistency; i can now feel the brakes through my foot, and can nail the stop pretty much every time; is difficult explain, but it certainly works for me.  Also received an email for Dave Nicholson at NiXiM, suggesting i try a different sensitivity setting in GTR2 for improved results - i do like it when companies take an active interest in their products.  Top marks all round from me.

Ya I heard about this mod. I'll put it on The Way I Play too I guess. Unless someone else wants to.

I was wondering about this myself because I already found the G25 brake pedals to be quite hard to fully depress. Especially now that I have my pedals in reversed position. Check HERE

Anyway, if you say it's even better with this mod....something to think about!

Ehr.. i too get that same feeling Tys, pressing the brake is ALOT harder now that they are inverted...

just be sure, tys, that you strengthen the board enough to which  you've fitted the pedals.. i'm still getting used to these now.. hehe

so there's 3 ways of using that 20 bucks piece of equipment.. as a brakemod.. as an eraser... and as chewinggum eh?  well worth the money then! hehe

great review Dave

installed it last night, it's superb you can just dab the brakes and also because the brake doesn't have as much travel you can "heal n toe"

the brake almost feels real and is much much closer to a car brake.

also after adding a deadzone to the brake i got to thinking, so i've now added dead zones to all the pedals and it's even more real now, i could explain why but i'm not going too.

it's a
