Fanatec 911 GT3 RS Clubsport Wheel/Pedals

I pre-ordered this wheel and pedals as well as the Fanatec shifter set almost 5 months ago, and it has finally arrived.  I've only had time to briefly try them out so far, but man is it ever nice.  I've been using a DFP up to now, so this is a huge step up.  I've been wanting to have a clutch pedal and 6 speed shifter for a long time now.  I've got the pedals configured and hooked up, but the wheel and shifter are going to require some work to get them mounted the way I want them.  The casing of the wheel is larger than the DFP and doesn't fit in my current set up.  But I can easily modify it.

I'll write up a full review once I've put some miles on the stuff.

And I'd be keen to know what you are currently distributing.  :)  I should know, but have forgotten. Chassis right?  Do you have a review for one of those, or a way we can get one written?  I know some guys that would probably be happy to do it.  We'll make you a fancy page to go with our fledgling review section, and SJ would have another product on the review board. If there is something we can do, PM me.

Obutto cockpit.  I have a review that Tim Wheatley did, will that do it?  Also the SRT boys did one a couple of episodes back.  I can see if we can cut it out and use that with their permission :)  Was that your line of thinking  :hmm:

I'd be interested in the pedals as I notice they feature adjustable spring strenght. They can be bought separatly and work together with a Logitech wheel  :)
The only problem is that apparantly they only sell their stuff in USA & Canada

The only thing not available in Europe is the original 911 Turbo wheel , they've set us up with the outrageously expensive Turbo S with Xbox support :tut:

Looking forward to a review by a junkie, probably much more valuable than the scores given by SRT.

Ive been wanting a good set of pedals ever since i decided to drop out fighting with my Finnmotion pedals. Clubsport pedals seem like an affordable option.. so im very curious about them also.

Yeah, stuttery axis problem.. Something in the build of a pedal, as all the pots are rock solid when i take em out and try by hand.
Ive been without them for months allready.. was getting frustrated not being able to brake or throttle out consistently anymore..
and doing maintenance weekly trying to get em stay ok for more than couple days.

I would much rather get the review from a Junkie.  My line of reasoning is that we view things differently than a lot of the bigger sites.  We are mostly family men.  Most of us are very careful how we budget our racing funds.  I would like to get the review from our perspective, as well as keeping the reviews unique to users of this site.  If we had someone close to you who was willing to review, and return the product could something be worked out?

Well there are a few junkies that have them, ;) so perhaps they could do a review on it.  Probably not that kosher that I do one anyway being the distributor :)

I've seen the SRT review, and honestly it's quite lacking.  I'm keen to write up a review, and I'll include pictures for sure.  I can't do video because I don't have a decent camera for it.  But like I said, I want to take some time to get used to everything, and get it all set up and configured properly.  It's definitely a nice wheel, and the pedals are fantastic, but there's definitely some little details that are annoying.
