Okay, so.
My DFP decided to kill a gear tooth, it would seem, clicking every 45 degrees, with the clicking being much louder when turning it to the left. There's been a mild click in it for a good while now, and until today I thought nothing of it.
But now I know that it was most likely a chewed tooth on one of the FFB gears. Turning it to the left, it's notchy, trying to not turn every 45 degrees, and clicking as I said. It makes it unuseable.
Since it's obviously my fault in some way, shape or form (or not), I have to ask: Have any of you guys experienced problems like this, heard about them, etc?
And also, could you see running relatively high FFB settings causing this? (If so, Bread is probably in trouble. I use his exact settings)
Thanks, the out-of-racing-that's-not-on-dirt-where-the-keyboard-isn't-a-total-hinderance Kyle Mallender.
