Rotating a .dds while editing

Hi all

   I wanted to get the proper angle for my decals. I "rotated" my working copy. Did my stuff, rotated back. Now when viewing the car in rfactor there is a shadowy silhoutte of another layer I can't locate (thinkin it might be more than 1 layer coming through).


   My plan is to reconstruct, but I don't want to do this again. Any ideas on what I "Screwed up"?

Yeah..   looks like your shadow and highlight layers are still rotated, mate.

If you really need to look at your 'canvas' from another angle, the best thing would be to rotate the whole thing:  Image>Rotate Canvas>90deg CW  - then do your stuff - then rotate it back: Image>Rotate Canvas>90deg CCW.

Best to stick to 90deg and 180deg rotations...  or the image quality will become distorted.

...What I thought I did. Probably shouldn't do it @ 6am heh heh.
