I think you need 3DsMax or it's open source cousin Blender

I doubt blender will help, as all scenes are max scenes and also require Brazil.

3dsMax 8 and brazil render plugin.
Never got old version Brazil to work in MAX09 and the new version is not doing its job with the SCENES.

So that is what you need.

Then you need some help to use it.
But get it first.

Apparently the "Brazil Rio" is free but i think its not enough.
Also you cant use the latest 3ds max cause the brazil dont work on it if i remember correct,
cant remember which version works though.. shame that Byron is away, he would know more.

EDIT:Well Cato replied to the question. :)

Eh..? what..?  who...?

So...  do you have 3dsmax and Brazil installed?

I wasn't sure whether to include a 3d render section in the RSP tutorials...  Maybe I should.

Anyway...  where are you up to Nailz?

3Ds Max7 and Brazil Rio, when I load a scene the cars have no applied textures (apart from wheels), they are big black boxes...

Don't think Rio will do it mate.  You'll need the full version of Brazil r/s.

Does render mean to see the changes in another program which u have done or is it maybe to paint the car in this program?  :-|  :?: :innocent:

A render, in this case, means mapping your custom skin onto a 3d model of the car, in a program such as 3ds Max, then rendering the result as a bitmap, for the purpose of showing off!
