La-5FN  -----   (this one .png format so its layered, and can easily be changed... altho the only layers are the bits i added to the blank skin i got from somewhere...) 


(easiest way to save it in the right format, is to open both this (might need to re-save as .bmp) and the blank template in paint, select all and copy the new one,  and paste over the template, and save as new! this is important as you dont want to loose your templates.)


if anyone knows of somewhere that has good templates let me know, cos the ones that come with the game can be.... tricky

I agree, Its almost like telling half a story, I want to see the skin in action!

yeah! i'd def be up for an air battle at some point

well after ages of struggleing with paint to downgrade the skins colour depth to the same as the game uses (8bit, 256 colours) i decided to use a free program called IrFranView,  which works much better

thanks, had trouble with using paint to convert it to 8bit colour depth, kept corrupting the colours, so found that program, and seems to work well 


oh and thanks marcus for suggesting that plane! absolutely love it! has crazy amount of power! still yet to rip the wings off, want to know the dive limit  
and next time we're flying can someone tell me what the mixture settings are all about , higher altitudes = richer mixture right?  and how do you know when to change up/down?
