I can't seem to get it right, I can paint for GTR, GTR2, and rFactor....

But cars don't seem to work, or show correctly in Legends. I have created Icons, and two skins, and created .car files created from working add on cars, and they come up in car dealer, but the paint looks like a syntax error, or old time television, when the screen goes wanked... Almost like courduroy skewn all over the car.....

So I took the skin, thinking it may have been the .car file, I renamed the skin to a working car, and then when I go to the game, it shows only the original skin, flawless.....


Help.... I saved the skin DXT1 with alfa, but I don't think that is right???

And I even 1024 and 2048 skins.... to no avail...

I really want to get into the GT Legends paint scene, can someone help please???

Just for you, Jeff...  I've put this tutorial up in the preview section at RSP.

Pretty much all the info you need is there...  I hope.

Nine times out of ten, problems with skins not showing properly are caused by accidental spaces in file names and things like that.

So, I bow down to you, by fine "young" friend!!!!!!

nope, i must be missing something... The car shows, which is half the battle, but the skin doesn't show, yet, all skewwweddd and messed up... doing it dxt1, no alpha... and it wont show on a donor car either,,,.....
