I don't like to issue edicts telling people how it is, but last night i noticed that, in seeking to include members who had start-line misfortunes, we ended losing more than we gained. For a couple of players, the time ticked by, and they were not able to participate, which was disappointing. All of which brings me to the following addition to the rules.
In the event of server/game issues, a restart will be permitted. However, for driving issues, such as large pile-ups and the like, we just keep going, thereby ensuring that we at least get to run pretty close to schedule. If someone is suffering persistent disco's and the like, I'm afraid we have to just accept that it's not their night (although we will ensure that people have sufficient time to get into the game, which has been an issue).
Last night's filed was a fantastic achievement, on possibly the narrowest track out there

, and accidents were a foregone conclusion. But what i did notice was that even after a big shunt, there was always someone to race with, and the turnout ensured that lap-times for the mid-pack would be slower due to congestion, allowing the stragglers to catch up to the tail and battle some more.
There is fun to be had carving your way through the field, which was difficult at Limerock, but will be easier at next weeks track.
Your observations on this issue will be most
