One solution for Steam issues..

..is to:
1.Close Steam.
2.Delete "clientregistry.blob" which is located in the Steam root folder.
3.Lauch Steam and see if it helped.
This helps for example when a game you own and have installed wont show in the list properly.. etc..
You get the idea... Seems to be a same sorta fix for Steam as reboot is for pc.. usefull all arounder and
first poke at a problem.

Jarkko. I've had problems with Steam (yet?), but this looks like valuable info.

Good advice Jarkko, that one has saved me a few times. Also, when deleting that .blob file, also delete this one too.

When ive finished downloading the bloody game,(07)
AGAIN
:grrr: i will back it up, and if i lose it again will try deleting both files (Half life episode 2 disappeared earlier, thats on my rig but a different account) :argh: :grrr:

The problem I am having with Steam/Race07 is when I load into a multiplayer server everything is good, but when I click on RACE, my wheel starts to jump around and my tach goes crazy and nothing works
..........So steam? me? both?
I am going to drive you guys nuts with all kinds of questions about sim racing...

Not a game i fire up often but, ive noticed that when im in the garage with the engine running my wheel bounces about all over the place, even if i turn the engine

i think you can turn the vibration down in the control menu, look for engine vibration slider.
