Name a good Video Editing program.

Can any of you recommend a simple/versatile program that I can use to edit some IL2/GTL/Home movies?  I'd like to be able to put them to music, and all that fun crap.

Thanks in advance!

if you want to make GTL/GTR video, first you need fraps, then just use window video editor :)

All you need is Fraps, Virtual Dub and Windows Movie Maker 2.

If you experience choppy, slideshow like playback, try this:

Set the frame capture rate to 25, and record the in-game sequence at half speed using the time scale keys ([]). Now in your editing software (Virtual Dub in this case) set the frame rate to 50. This will double the speed back up to normal and give you silky smooth motion.

Now you can edit frames and sequences, add titles, commentary, music and transition effects etc using Movie Maker 2.

The above method works well with the IL-2 series, but I haven't tried it with GTL. I shouldn't think there would be a problem though.

Hope this helps.
