is their anywhere that has a clear set of directions to load skins? or stand alone cars?

There will be very soon.

 :nose:

Not sure how it works with the Champcars, cos each mod is a little different, but the folder containing the DDS and the VEH files should be somewhere like this:

...\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\MOD_NAME\TEAM_NAME\

There is much to learn about this game diesel.
Lots to get right.
But once you have all the issues down and get online with us you will love it...

Not sure what you mean mate.

Playing offline, you can set the amount of cars you want to race against to whatever number you like.  It won't make any difference which add on cars you have installed.

yeah its weird i didnt expect the SJ car packs to be so prominent in the single player cup challenges... anyone know a way around it so im just racing the default painted cars... one car i passed had like Mario Brothers on it! wha?

but i gotta say i was using Byron's orange and blue lotus for one race it rocked and looked good rocking, so thanks!

The car pack has an uninstaller "SJ GTL carpack Uninstal.exe" , you could run that to remove the SJ cars and reinstall when you come league racing.
This won't change the number of cars you face in the challenges though... just the pain jobs :)

Other than doing a second install (which may be problematic in itself) I think you would have to go through each of the TEAMS folders (e.g. D:\GTL\GameData\Teams\GTC-65) and sort the folders by created date, you could then determine the added cars, delete the one's you don't like and keep the ones you do... an unenviable task. You could also run the installer and point it to a temporary directory, you could then determine which vehicles are original and which are add on.

i use 3 install of GTR2, and will be easier enough to do with GTL.  Uninstall car pack from current install, as you have your championship thing going on, then rename the GTL.exe to TiTs or anything really.  Then insert GTL disc, and it will ask you if you want to install (can't find the .exe file).  Install and apply patch, then install the MIGHTY SJ CAR PACK :hats off: in your fresh install.  Re-name the GTL.exe as GTL Modded.exe (or whatever) and voila, a modde install of GTL.  Then return to your original version, and change the name of the .exe from TiTs to GTL.exe.  Ta daaaa! a vanilla install of GTL, to run separately from your online SJ version.  thumbs up

Dave, I think the problem is Punky wants to leave a couple of the cars from the car pack in game .. but remove others .. there's no easy/graphical way to do this that I know of .. has to be done manually within the folders.
