HELP! Weird Rfactor problem. It wont start!!!!!!

 I have no idea what's going on with my computer. All of a sudden, doesn't want to run RFactor. Opens it as a web page. Any idea what could cause this problem?

Does the web page offer purchase options and an 'already purchased' link or is it blank?
Also, if you right click your rFactor icon and select 'properties', what does it say in the 'target' box?

 I had that happen. The guys here had me check my PC clock. Bingo as I had recently pulled the mortherboard battery when I frigged my Bios.

 Check the time on your Computer. With me, I had forgotten to set the YEAR!! hahahaaa.

I found this on the rFactor site, hope it helps: Especially if you are running Zone Alarm.

Encountering a blank screen or a white page while activating rFactor may be caused by Internet Zone Security settings being set high and/or a personal firewall software product such as ZoneAlarm or Norton Internet Security.

Steps to resolve:
Close game
Temporarily disable the firewall
Try licensing the game

If a white screen still appears:
Close game
Open Internet Options in Control Panel
Click Security tab
Change Internet zone from current setting to Medium or Default
Click OK to apply changes
Try licensing the game

Issues with Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2:
Some users have solved this problem by uninstalling Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview.
This resolves most licensing issues where a blank page is shown instead of the licensing pages, or if the license delivery is blocked after entering the activation code.

If the above methods do not solve your problem, consult the TryMedia Customer Support Center.

Yep'ers, playing around with the space time continuem will wreck havoc now and again,  rofl  Glad to hear you got it sorted Joe  thumbs up , when you get a chance can you tell me again how that "Flux Capacitor" needs to be wired?  :innocent: I want to make a couple of wager's/investments  :tut: a few years ago  lol  :twit:

The cables were not done by me but by my causing. The cables need to be replaced every two times is used or they may explode the machine. It was a really silly fix since I was thinking that was dumb, but it worked....
