I used to have the Sennheiser 151's and found them very good, but in a drunken moment I jumped out of the chair to do something, forgetting that I was still wearing them... they didn't work very well then.
I then got the Creative Fatality headset, and I found that they blew the Sennheisers out of the water audio wise, then Mrs. Stick's new puppy took a liken to them... they didn't work very well after that.
I've now got the Steelseries 4H headset, since you can't get the Fatalitys in NZ anymore  :grr: and they are very average...

Double the price is probably going to be hard to justify.  I got the Sennheiser 156s and i'm very happy for all round use.  I like the fact that they are sound deadening when sound is coming through but can hear perfectly well.  The sound to is excellent.

The only complaint i have is they just aren't as tight on my head as i would like.  They do seem a bit more fragile than i would expect for the money so i am being a little delicate.

But i ever tried the fatalities....and as i said, if you like'em double the price will be hard to justify.  I wouldn't change my decision at this point though.

I bought the creative fatality headset and returned them the next day because I found the sound quality to be poor.  I haven't tried the Sennheiser pc151 so I can't say anything about them.  I ended up getting the Plantronics Audio 370 and the sound quality is absolutely fantastic.   They look big and bulky, but they are surprisingly light, and extremely comfortable.

thanks for the info

I went to the supplier and was lucky enough to try both  :) before laying out the cash

so I splashed out on the Creative which where less than half the price, felt more comfy on the ears and personally I thought the sound was better

so come the next race I join I should be able to join in some  chatter

again thanks for the info given ;)

I like the sennheiser, very comfortable.  I have no experience with the Creative though.
