While trying to do online races i keep getting the Radeon driver crashing and basically garbaging Race07 which ends up with me stacking the car more than usual.
 

When i eventaully get out of the sgame there is a nice icon sying the graphics driver has stopped responding.

Running Vista with aPhenom X4 4GB ram

Radeon HD3850 graphics card.

Catalyst 8.10

Running race07 (Actually run GTR Evo) at 1920x1200 32bit level 3 antialiasing.

This seems to be the only game giving me crashing issues of the GFX kind.

Any advice?

just downloading a hotfix from ati

See if that works, ill have to try some ai races to give it a workout

I noticed in GTREvo that it raised the temperature of my GFXcard a mile high... only noticed it actuallly when all offa sudden i was looking at a red-flagging GFX-card pointing out it ran too hot.. seems some of the settings in there caused it to go to near melting.

Im using a tweak driver (Xtreme-G_Catalyst_8.10_Vista_32-64bit.exe) on vista and also XP and it has worked flawless, maybe worth testing.

 I started using the Extreme-G drivers on the last graphics card and now use them with this one and love it. Much better than the Radeon driver. Noticibly.

 When I got the 3850 AGP and couldn't get it to boot, there was mention on a few places (When I started doing searches to see if I could make it work) that the supplied driver was problematic for some. On both PCI-E and AGP- though as usual there were also those that had no problems at all.

 That and the Extreme-G.  Pierre suggested them to me. Those and the Omega drivers but I couldn't get the Omega to work

 As far as ATI and Sapphire with the AGP stuff, in the case of my 2600, Sapphire's downloads are older than ATIs and even then I found the ATI from a lead from a review on the card that said where to look. It was kinda hidden. LOL.

 I just found those drivers worked is all and in a few spots read that ATI's supplied drivers are problematic.
