Well as some of you might know i recently got a new computer...
specs are as followed:
Nvidia Gigabyte GTX285
Asus p5ql-pro mobo
Intel E8400
2x2gb Corsair 1066 ram
750W TX corsair psu
so, here's what happened:
after a decent few laps in gtr2 (power and glory mod in the minis) round Pukekohe feeling pretty good and loving the new computer decided to get some sleep as i had uni in 8 hours.
Now that seems pretty normal, but being the idiot i am as i went to close down my computer but happened to bump 'sleep mode' instead. This seemed alright to me so i let it do its thing. I came back 10 mins later and wiggled the mouse to 'wake' it up. Hmmm nothing....

so i hit spacebar... thats when i noticed neither my mouse nor my keyboard had any power lights or anything of the sort.... oh well, ill just hit the off button its getting late....
The next day after learning about how to make programs im keen to get some more racing action in... turn it on, put my bag away, sit down, look at the screen...

screen is going into power saving mode, still no power to my mouse or keyboard... computer lights on, and i still hear the sounds of the dvd in my drive running and my hdd spinning up...
maybe ill reset it and unplug it at the wall.
turn it back on... nothing. Blue flashy lights (which looks mean for all you people who said it was an ugly case!) going, hdd spinning up and everything looking like it should. Yet still my screen (plugged into the dvi port) went into power saving mode and still no connection to my mouse or keyboard. I did all the obvious things, checked the cables, checked the usb's (and there is power to the usb's because my mp3 when plugged into it starts charging as it should). i cracked open the case and nothing seems to be lose or anything.
Still nothing!
i've researched on the internet and not many people have had this problem but those that have, have got no answers.
Hoping that someone here has any help. It's in the shop now but im gonna pick it up 2moro and if they havent fixed the problem will smash it into oblivion.
