Caspar, by what i saw in the screenie, the blurriness etc is in no way connected to the mod. Might be some kind of texture setting on your gfx card or in the game. It's way cleaner here. Sure the cubemaps help, but something's definitely wrong on your side. :hmm:

Edit: Scratch that. Even though i read the thing 2 or 3 times, i didn't notice that you wrote "...In replay the numbers still look blurry...". So yes, during the replay, opponent detail takes over even though it's your car. So i guess all is well.  :)

Thanks for your concern Marc.  :hats off:
But I'm sure you have better things to do.
Go to F3 Detroit post race comments for example and read.   :|

Yeah, Spa 67!
It never gets a chance in the other sims (np ;)) so I hope to run it once again after several years ago in GPL.

OK Guys, I will start working this out this weekend...

So enduro (90 Mins or so) or normal races?

If we do enduro might need to limit it to one race a month or maybe two at each end of the month type of thing? Tuesdays nights are free at the moment so yeah, let me know :)

Oh man, I just stumbled across this and all I can say is....COOooool !!

I raced these last year in a gtr league and had a blast in the 917.  Pitty I don't have Rfactor loaded.  I sure would be tempted if you catz put a league together though.  I wonder if my setups would be useable?!?

These cars were a handful for most of us, except for the Matra, which seemed quite tame, but very fun.  When the mod first came out, the 917 was easy to drive and a speed demon, but then they corrected it, and turned it into holding a demon by the tail!

Well, enjoy 'em guys!

ps- Here's a pic of me with the #3 and another of the fav #23

What a gorgeous shape that car has. Just stunning. I was always a fan of the "hippie car" paint job as a kid. Still am.  lol
Your pic really puts into perspective how small and low these cars are HC. It's a wonder they could shoehorn a 12 cylinder into one.

Fun runs indeed! Tuesday night would be perfect for me JB. Normal or Enduro it don't matter. I think it would be sweet to be able to drive what you like from any class on any night WSC style. Oh, and period tracks only please!  ;)

Anyone driven the 910 yet?  :D

Rocky, I got the tracks I could from your post and added the others to my WIP watch thumbs up

Steve, I will try to keep all tracks between 70 and 79  We can keep car selection open as well   :D

All I know is that these are a Blast at Blue River with 48 cars on track ...

:rotfl: You're mad, MAD I tell you!

YEAP ... I hav been Crazy a long time now ... LOL

I actually though about adding some guardrails to a few turns to this track ... against my better judgement ... and make it as another circuit ...  :extend:

Why not the CSGT WIP tracks, at least Daytona and Sebring. And if not their Le Mans, then I would rather use VLM Le Mans than the Le Mans 67. Just my opinion. :)

Got a couple of thoughts, but otherwise fine by me :) .

1st CSGT's already got a 1970 LM track which even though beta, is pretty solid. the 67 one as far as i can remember was directly converted over from GPL, plus it's a killer. Barely any armco. Killed myself there loads of times on GPL  lol
2nd Machwerk is pretty long(which is perfectly fine by me) And the lap is on Nordschleife levels. Difference being that it's very twisty and narrow at a lot of spots. It's just country roads anyway. I Personally love the track so I'm just bringing this up in case it becomes an issue.

Roskilde ring might be too short 1.4km. But I've never tried it so i don't really know.

In case more tracks are needed. Something from the GP79 trackpack would do i guess. Something like kyalami. Which didn't change much from the late 60s to late 70s.

That's pretty much it  :)

Edit: Rocky got me about Le Mans first  lol

Athough my driving skills for this version (WSCC vs LM70) will require an extension on my health care insurance, I WILL be in the #25 Porsche 917LH, (insert image of Underdog here) the crashes will be brutal and my crew cheif might quit due to work overload, maybe this is good time for new team sponsor like Fed-Ex or UPS, would help in getting replacement parts from Germany,

see you from the tree tops  :twit:

ok, its better looking Brands, but modern one from 2005.

Maybe this one would suit better to this cars, with slightly older corner radius, but still not 100% accurate as Brands'70 from VirtualLM for F1Challenge was.
