Actually, Brian is probably more of an acquaintance than a friend, like you.  I spent some time with him at the last Rennsport (Porsche) reunion in Daytona, last year.  I also got to spend some time with David Hobbs who I met, of all places, in the loo!

What was funny was that I read the article that the quote came from, at work on Thursday!  The article was at the speedtv.com website under LeMans.  I would post the link, but I don't want to go there, as I am now watching the end of the race!

It's called a dvr, digital video recorder.  Quite handy.
