« on: June 20, 2009, 11:05:20 pm »
had great night of TV tonight, i know, i know... wtf you on about you scotch twit   lol

well i have watched:

Jackie Stewart...the flying scot

Jim Clark...the quiet champion

Graham Hill...driven

i am now watching Cobra, Ferrari Wars...the story of Carroll Shelby's journey to build a car to compete with the Ferrari's..very interesting when you find out he started it on a 20 year old chassis from AC motors, a roadster body and an engine from a Ford pick up....Friggin Amazing   :o

then i'm gonna watch in search of speed...the battle of Bonneville, the story of Art Arfons' and Craig Breedlove's attempts to break the land speed record in the 1960s

love this old stuff

PS...Carrol Shelby used to put a 100 dollar bill on the dashboard and if you could get it off the dash while he accelerated away in the car, you got to keep the 100 dollars...he never lost the 100 dollar bill...Amazing
