Formula 1 2009 China
« on: April 12, 2009, 03:56:30 pm »
Hmm.. starting with interesting rumors.. Mercedes made quite angry statement about their relationship with Mclaren.. its easily possible they will leave the team, they are apparently pretty frustrated about what Mclarens spy and lie methods have done to their reputation.. Apparently Lewis could leave the team also, if Mclaren is excluded from some races this year.. Mercedes might even work a way for him to drive with Brawn GP.. Interesting to see the situation develope.

Never say never.. I would think Brawn could easily drop Rubens "wrecker" Barrichello and retire him early.. or late.. depends who you are asking lol
You never know m8, what if Mercedes jumps to Brawn from Mclaren and want Hamilton to drive for them? Money talks.. Im not saying its gonna happen.. im just saying shouldnt exclude even the weirdest scenarios..

 :dunno:

They say its because Anthony Hamilton has his handbag raised, but i dont believe it.. Either he was completely tired of the bullshit personally, or then Mercedes wanted some heads.

they won't drop barricello for the simple reason he is racing this season for nothing, my next door neighbour is head of some dept or other, can't remember which, will find out later. and i'm not sure, but i think that button is also racing this season for very low, possibly nothing as well.

i will try and get some info later tonight if i can catch him before he hits too many bottles of wine lol

Well From What I have been able to gather Renault and MM will have updated diffusers this weekend.

Practice session one is on in 20 minutes, justin.tv has some channels up with the coverage.

I hate Mclaren, bullshit team.
Same crap goes on as last year, Lewis has a new front wing, Heikki dont.
They are full of crap! Sad because there were some rumors that they would actually really really
give equal treatment for both drivers this year.. but nooooooooooooo

lol

seriously though, i feel Mclaren is a dead end for Kovalainen..

Well, it's his own fault as he knew he was going to be treated like that before he moved to McLaren.

I am not surprised that Hamilton got the new parts instead of Heikki. I am sure they only had time to make 1 new component(s) in such a short amount of time.

Well, it looks like it will be another great race! :D Great to see Vettel get the pole! The renaults are running light, but we'll see how it goes.

Well, getting booted from Renault i reckon that was his best option.

Surely you must also believe in Santa Claus also?  lol
I think they could have done enough for both at the same time, and i dont believe they treat drivers equally.. BUT..
I do believe though, that because they are in a crap situation like this they would like to maximise the performance for both drivers..
but im afraid their actions are still similar to last year, where Heikki was allowed to choose qualify fuel only once.. (instantly resulting in pole)

Yeah, well if they could have given both drivers the same stuff, then they would have done so, like you said. And I'm sure that their intentions were to give Hamilton the new stuff first, who else?

Im not so sure about that one anymore.. They took Kovalainen to pit immediately after Hamilton when he could have continued for plenty more laps.. smells like shite, even Kovalainen himself was pretty puzzled why they took him in.. "I have to ask from team about it.. i dont know why they took me in, i could have gone for much longer.. i guess they had some reason"..
pffffffft!

Good race btw!

Great result for Red Bull, but it wasn't a very exciting race IMO. Could've been much better in the dry with Red Bull and Brawn GP closer together and possibly Alonso pulling something unbelievable about His Ugliness R29.
If..If..F1 spelled backwards, I know.
