I really don't think Badoer was a good (second) choice by Ferrari. He was always seconds slower during winter practice then Kimi & Massa... Might have been better to select Gené or even that Italian young driver (forgotten his name, but last year he impressed on a test at Fiorano)

Its always impossible to say.. maybe Alonso was the only one really running on low fuel.. I know Räikkönen was very happy with his car, and said everything went as they wanted and car was really really good.. both tires had good performance, and durability. He mentioned there are far more important things than laptimes for friday.. and as we have seen before.. the friday laptimes indeed mean nothing when comparing the actual performance levels of teams.

Remember that we're in Spain, so Alonso probably gives the crowd something to hope for  :)
It really seems that Brawn has improved their form, but confirmation is needed in qualify of course.

Actually he was keeping up pretty good speed in the rally until that.. (had also some technical trouble, and no experience of the roads in the rally.. it is considered one of the most challenging rally in the schedule)
At least his performance impressed plenty of rally people.
 :dunno:

Kimi got good chances to finish on podium tomorrow with that weight. KERS should gain 3-4 positions at the start on that track but we will see how it gos. Lewis should win this one, specially if Barrichello can´t pass Kovalainen. If Nakajima doesn´t crash, he could gain most positions with that car :fingers crossed:

thx for posting the list m8 :D

Kers wont give that much advantage on the start now as he is starting on the dirty side of the track.

according to my neighbour, who works for Brawn GP, they have gone back to basics, the car is the same as,i think he said barcelona, but not sure, the beers were flowing pretty well by then lol. :toast:

he said they were confident the car would be good in the race.

Yeah, Brawn was going very good till Turkey and basically that's the same 'spec' as they used for Barcelona. It's a bit weird to me that they made the car slower by the updates after Turkey.
I think they have a chance on the victory tomorrow, but it will not be easy.

It seems like they have almost no sponsorship (Virgin only gets a small decal), what's the future of the team if no new sponsors come?

I dont think they have any problem finding sponsors if they finish this year as well as they have started.. Its likely they will be on top battle or close until the end of the season.. and Button is still very strong candidate for the champ.
