Settings + PLR

Here is my Settings Plus my PLR file.

Settings contain ones from Rik, huttu, duhan, myself and riven. Amongst the zillion folders is a setup for every car really, at least a base setup.

Since no copyrights were paid I ask the removal of my small amount of setups... just kidding  rotfl

However a bit of comment: the Abarth one was kind of a "early period" setup, the one from Dijon should be better. (or works better for me today at least)
Guess a few other setups from different guys could also be considered as work in progress.

The best place to find and upload (finished) setups is our downloads section imo  ;)

This is what SJ is all about.. massive 'K' ...! but, just because I'm a knob, I'm going to carry on trying to sort my own settings out ... you blokes a royal fast and up for the podium ... I try for a set-up that will let me finish a bloody race! :)

Hahaha yes, ive aquired setups from many places, one day i should upload the proper latest good ones.

I'll list what i use for each car, roughly. Most are the same scattered through the folders, mainly gearing and brakes changed as i evolved.

cortina is found in nordschliefe it was responisble for a 8'34
Alfa is in many folders, its basically the same, started as rik's can be found in nordschilefe again.
abarth found in dijon
Mini, found at limerock
Jag, again dijon
falcon, Laguna seca
Mustang, Laguna seca

Healey, Zolder
E-type, oulton island
Shelby DC, Brno
Ferrari, Nurburgring Sprint or zolder
TVR, havnt got one, barely driven it
Alpine, SP nurb again i believe
Elan, Dijon again
GT350, Misano
65Vette, Its crap, dont bother
GT40, I think the one found in Watkins glen is the best
AC cobra, Indiapolias
Elite, Cadwell or Zandvort(thanks to riven)

Escort, Watkins glen or laguna
BMW, Spa
Capri, I think in base setup folder is 2 versions, thank to rik.
Pantara, I belive its in base setup
906, Rik did a great magny cours setup, plus i have a good one in Spa from GHuttu.
911, Interlagos
914, i think one is in hockenheim, barely driven it.

Massive thanks for sharing the settings with all the others. That's a step forward for the beginners to attend some races with actually a possibility to compete with anyone (even if that's in the back of the pack).

I was replying to the line where you asked whats the first step in building setups.
First thing.. i tried to google a bit for a setup guide but had no success, maybe someone will point you to a guide. First thing is to learn what does what pretty much, then start testing. Adjusting one setting at a time and trying to feel how it effect the car. Of course not always easy, some settings dont do much, some settings need  to be combined with others to have the desired effect.
Not much help.. but i hope someone points you to a really good setup guide.
