things to look forward
« on: October 23, 2008, 02:38:36 pm »
things to look forward to as the Race07/GTR-E/STCC  family expand

once one of the current seasons ends i want to run some test events   things like the added options in the dedicated server options such as weight penaltys,  super pole, force pitstop {{yes there is an option added with the STCC update where you can force pitstops ......not sure how it works as it is just a check box no settings  hence need to test }}

i also want to do some testing on rolling starts as well to try and get more skill into our events other than just blasting round for a few laps

have a few more things in mind but they are just thoughts for now  :innocent:

Im propably gonna avoid buying the game for now..

1.atm 20$ is good money for me.
2.I might not race it much.
3.I still feel bad about what happened with GTR Evo.
4.Theres GTA IV coming out soon, and thats a game i wanna buy.. so need to avoid spending now.

i think the additions to the dedicated server will be usable even if people don't have STCC as when setting the server it is actually the Race07 dedicated server that is used  so the additions should work even if a driver only own  Race07  thumbs up one of the things to be tested  ;)

To the above. YES.

And I am in on the testing bit. Rolling start is part of STCC so I have tested and it works great. But with family instead of AI???????
THAT NEEDS TESTING HERE :)
