The truth is, it adds barely nothing we dont allready have. We have now more than enough Touring Cars, we have a sloppy driving american muscle car, We have open wheelers.. so in reality what we get is couple tracks..

Hmm. Ugly turd of an auto trannied family car (Charger), Camaro that looks more like a Mustang, Challenger with a Wedge masquerading as a "Hemi" (Thanks to Chrysler owning the trademark and can call anything they want to a "Hemi". Not a bad motor really, but it still ain't a Hemi no matter what the ad hype says!),........, Another family sedan, but at least it has a clutch and an actual racing background.

 No 'Vette, no Mustang.

I'd get it for the CTS and the tracks but that's about it really.

 Hahahaaaa..........that's funny!

Personally, the B and RB (IE:Wedge) was a Hell of a set of motors and I still think Chrysler shouldn't have desecrated the Hemi name the way they did and could easily have used the Wedge name and then have an HONEST ad campaign! Hell, I'd love to have seen "as a matter of fact, it does have a MAX Wedge!!" lol Ironically, the Viper's V10 IS a hemi!

OH!! and where is the Viper!!??!! lol

Den are you trying to start a fight?   :P

What's the latest on Chrysler anyway?  Are they even going to be a company much longer?

Nope. Just an opinion. I hardly call the Charger or 300C "muscle cars". Family cars with a bit of oomph, yes, but not muscle cars. And the (fake)"hemi" is a pet irritant of mine as I was a HUGE (still am!) fan of the REAL Hemi.

Last story on Chrysler was a partnership with Fiat but the main factor was the UAW accepting a $19 dollar an hour pay cut. Must be nice to be ABLE to do that eh? (Personally I think they should boot the union out altogether.)

Funny as I was reading a review on the new Abarth 500 and was thinking I wished we got something fun here. But though they did say they may bring it over they said a "Chrysler version" which means usually that they will screw it up. (Remember the Merkur XR4Ti ?)

Also, Cerburus is in the business of buying companies and dissolving them and selling off the assets. I never did get the posts on various forums saying they were "saved" at the time because of this. but I suppose most people never look below the surface. I remember there was quite a deeply informative article at the time in CAR magazinne. (who a couple months ago voted the current Chrysler minivans the biggest piles of crap they've ever had the misfortune of driving.)

Anyways. A few weeks ago, here in Canada, Chrysler was talking about leaving Canada completely (Ironic considering as far as I recall, Cerberus is Canadian?) due to the inflexibility of the CAW. I was kinda hoping they would and teach those bullies a lesson. lol Sad that the CAW would rather see the company leave altogether then say take a cut and still have a JOB!

Currently, the plants here are shutting down for a bit. (Don't make sense to keep building stuff no one wants to buy, DUH!!)

Also, Mercedes is trying desparately to get rid of their 20% stake in the company. A lot of people don't realise that Cerberus didn't buy Chrysler, Mercedes PAID them $36 000 000 to take it off their hands.

Ansd of course Obama didn't help the case any when he sold his 300C in the name of political correctness to buy a hybrid!! bad move. he should have said the 300C was one of the things America did RIGHT (other than it's ugliness) and for a full sized rear drive family car with a V8 to get 30 mpg is a pretty Damn good achievement!

I seriously doubt the current Camry could do much better, I know one case where a guy said his nieghbour was dropjawed after being informed that his Camry was harder on gas than this guy's Corvette!!, but of course the masses are brainwashed about V8s so......

Chrysler, Ford and G.M. have to stop pretending to be everyone else and stick to being proud of who THEY are. Simple. When the "best" Ford can do is some boring piece of crap box on wheels  like the Flex, we know why they're in trouble!

I did see in our carguide here that Caddilac had listed a CTS "sport wagon". Only had the V6, but WAS RWD, manual tranny and a wagon. PERFECT!! And even had fairly acceptable 17" rims instead of those rediculous rapstar rims they been putting on everything lately. Now if I had the cash, THAT, I'd buy. serriously. might fall apart within 5 years but still a cool car. So i olooked on Caddillac.ca and it doesn't seem to actually exist! POOH!

I wonder if it was scheduled to come up and they cut it with the downfall? Sucks. Better if they killed that stupid SRX thing.

I was quite happy to see an AMERICAN car that didn't suck to me. And was hoping it might eventually get the CTS-V treatment.......lol

Ah well. now if they could give us (in games) cars like this........
