As have I because Simtools does not show tire temps or wear. I wonder of this will work with a second monitor? Hmmm...hope it does not require that Motec display crap on as I turned it off

Well, it don't work for GTR2. put it in the root folder, downloaded the directX update, started the game and got a note saying the XD wasn't installed. lol. Screw it, I'll try it with EVO later, already have PDs for GTR2 and GTL anyways.

GTL & GTRe work perfect

So, GTL, you just drop the dll into the root folder?

And GTRe, which installation folder? The "my documants" one? Or the "program files" one?

And just HOW do you activate it? Don't seem to be an option or instruction included.

yeah...it works...extract it to ?:\...\steam\steamapps\usename\race07 folder...

Once started it shows you xd-config file where you can set things up...

IMPORTANT: Install newset Direct X...my game hasn`t started before that anymore

here some screenies..

It works with GTL, just make sure you download the DX9 SDK. I don't use HUD in GTL, so that's not needed.

Does anyone know what that percentage reading in the middle of the car is for? It seems totally inconsistent to me. I can strart the car in the pits with 80% showing, do a lap, escape to the pits, change nothing, and it will read anything from 40% to 110% next time. Each time I start from the pits, it seems to be totally random.  :dunno:

think it was the enginehealth :hmm:

if it show me under 50% it could be also mean the chance to win this session lol

That is what I expected it to be, but I can start a fresh session 5 times with the same setup, and get 5 wildly varying figures there. Surely the game doesn't give you random engine health each session?? :twit:

Günthar - I have also downloaded that and am trying to get it going....

The server comes up ok. I am using the classic dll's loaded in the right places. When I start the game - it says it is connected but nothing comes up on screen. If I start the client program, it comes up in it's own window..but still nothing on the HUD...

Any help would be appreciated!!

I too had a bit of a nightmare getting it going, if like me you have a 64bit OS, then you need to copy the Hook file into WOW64 folder as well as SYSTEM32.
But I think you have my problem of running FRAPS? I turned it off and it ran fine. Must admit I have gone back to XD which I prefer.
