P&G league schedules 2009
« on: January 19, 2009, 08:48:01 pm »
My idea was to have 2 leagues running side by side, split up by race type/length. So that's why we have a 'sprint' league and an 'endurance' league. Both have their own championship (no joint championship!) and the leagues will run bi-weekly. So we'll start this week with a sprint race and next week the first endurance race will be held than.

I think it's clear we will encounter some issues in these leagues, like we already noticed with the test race and now again with our first race of this season. So, in a way it's also a 'test' season in fact which means that the schedule could change at some points perhaps...
Like you'll notice I've made car selection pretty open most of the times by just selecting a whole group of cars (altough some groups only contain 2 or 3 cars  :)) as I simply don't know how all these cars compare against each other.

Anyway, I'll hope we'll have a lot of fun in these leagues with this nice mod  :)

Sprint League - Race length: 1x50min or 2x25min
1) sterreichring 1979 (1 race) - Gr. 6
2) Imola '94 (2 races) - Gr. 3 (without Ford GT40 Mk1)
3) Long Beach 1979 (1 race) - Porsche 911 IROC
4) Pau '67 (2 races) - Gr. 5
5) Snetterton 1964 (1 race) - Gr. 4
6) Aintree (2 races) - Gr. 2
7) Misano (1 race) - Gr. 5

Endurance League - Race length: 1h40m
1) Goodwood - Gr. 2
2) Paul Ricard '75 - Gr. 4
3) Dijon '79 - Gr. 5
4) Le Mans VLM '77 - Gr. 6
5) Nordschleife Nurburgring - Porsche 911 RSR 3.0

Leagues have been created on GPCOS. Points system for endurance is taken from MotoGP and those for the sprint races are based on BTCC's points system.

Almost forgot, but if there is enough interest we can do a teams championship too.
