Petrolheads Racing Hobart livery
« on: May 18, 2009, 07:29:57 am »
I started this "livery" with a few GTR2 cars, and decided after a few days doing a HUGE bunch of work on my GTR2 stuff to relax a bit and come back to GTR Evo.....

So....I'm thinking with this M3, I will be starting on a new skin pak......

Here I go again!!!  :excited: :excited: :excited:

EDIT: I've just redone ALL these up to the Honda as I changed the team name and livery.

Hmm, it would seem the post button disapears after you add anything more than one attachment.

I couldn't change that one so that's the old, and these are the new...

Technically, I suppose this one should be in the STCC section, but.....

It's part of this so it's here. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Starting with STCC and then doing what I feel as I feel like it.

I REALLY wanted to do an STCC Alfa, but there apparently aren't any templates. *sniff*

So, I did the Pigout 308 instead......

 Heehee.

I lost some momentum, burned myself out a bit I think, spent last night hammering the Corvette about the 'Ring just to hear it.....but finally finished my A4 today.

I'm not much of a Honda fan.

So, of course, the way I think, I HAD to do one...... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well Denty, what can i say.... you've used a different colour (didn't think you'd find them!)

But ehm.. to someone like me, Anarkist or Anarchist, or would that be Antichrist....

either way.. i still dont think it's  a nice word, allthough they completely mean different things.. but you've set up the site for it i know...  must be Anarchistic as you hate the law and someone dominating... allthough you let my opinions sometimes rule your life, that means you are not a true anarchist... aaaarrggghh.. now i'm confusing myself... Anarchie was.. ehr.. now i'm lost.. and i dont want to be found.

in laymens terms..   forget the rest i sayd:  Anarkist just doesn't sound like a "good" word.

But the paints are allright m8ey, you still need the "blend in"-tendencies that others have with the painting, you are definately getting there Denty, dont get me wrong... yer still a bit.. ehm... "crude" might be the word. Feels like you just do a basepaint, slap some stickers on, give the beast a number and tadaaa.... i know, i know, it's a bit more complex then that m8ey, but i'm positive you are definately getting there...

You didn't think you were on the top of your painting carreer now where you?  :innocent:

Well. Right now, it's simplified so I can get these done, plus I like simple. And the "paint" is actually matched to the Tassie flag. One day I'll try those "effects" etc but I've still yet to read my Photoshop book, or even the manual that came with it for that matter.......

As for the mispell of Anarkist, that was actually voted on when the new site for that forum was done. And it suited the forum as the site was for cars that didn't fit other "genres" and so were whatever they wanted to be, hence "Automotive Anarchy". And though I am at heart an anarchist, I didn't plan to be one and it kind of just "happened" and even I know we need laws, etc or the world would fall apart.

Anyways, the "Anarkist Garage" thing just kind of "took" though I actually killed off the site about a week or so ago. It seems this simracing thing has kinda' taken precedent.........

AH.. does this mean i get to see you on track a bit more m8ey? as of late you've been doing a lot of painting, yet alot less racing..

or was that just because you messed up once or twice?

must be that jabbing of the brake you do which puts your car outtof control eh?    Comon m8ey.. even i can be fast.. when i want to!  It's the fun of getting to the finishflag that got me through it all that time!

We shall see......

Now though, you've given me food for thought.

I never thought of a new name as it never entered my mind but since the old forum is dead, it might be time to start a "new chapter" in the "history"......

 "I have an idea...." :rotfl:

See second post for more info. Going to have to start skins from scratch as I deleted them once done. but, that's okay....lol

I just finished redoing ALL of them as you can see in the new pics. I had to start from scratch and redo my entire folder structure, but I like the feel on this. Makes the break with the old forum complete too. lol

Which version? Pretty good cover was also done by Megadeth. Though the one that was my oldest daughter's favourite song at 2 was The Sex Pistols.
