Congrats Cole , indeed a storming progress, just incredible!!!!

Well done Riven, kudos for your Healey driving!

I had a big downfall mid season and after a decent comback the disco at Spa and the self inflicted humiliation at Zandvoort put me out of contention.
To get a win and a second place in the final round is very bloody great!
Never thought I would come so close in the end.
It's Stick's paint I tell you, it is!  thumbs up :hats off:
Hard to part with the Ferrari, I'll miss it, a lot!

Thanks all, for a wonderful season.

Special compliment goes to the general attitude in this group.
No matter how serious or dissappointed or tired I can be, there's always a typical Aussie or Kiwi voice to make it all SOOOOO relative and insignificant, that is so cool!
No better way to spend a Sunday morning.
:abso-bloody-lutely:

Caspar.

Congrats & thanks All who participated. Theres been some magic racing this season & great comradeship & participation by all involved thumbs up There certainly some top rank drivers in OSJ but its a privilage to race with you all ! :)

The track selection & race format have been top notch as always . I learned heaps & had lots of fun driving that beautifully skinned ,rubber burning , tractionless , brakeless ,speedy bucket of parts called the TVR  chocks away

Kudos to Mario for organising/running the league , Riven for managing the server & cheers to Stick for the superb skins thumbs up

Thanks For the congrats guys  :hats off:.Been a lot of fun , practicing , learning & a fair amount of luck  to score a prized wee SJ Icon thingy in my sig   :)

Looking Forward to OSJ 5  :salute:

Sweet pics & report Casper thumbs up
Absolutly love the "anything goes at OSJ "pic rotfl

Re the Reliant Robin Dammit, larf ,larf as you well may , but we shall see how it goeth whence one prys  the v8 out of the TVR into it
Rumour has it it handles like a washing machine on spin cycle around corners & is wobbly in a straight line, but gives a buttock clenching ride @ 140 mph down long straights

Brilliant race report and pictures, Caspar... thumbs up

nothing more to add...this second race was one of the best i ever had and not because of winning it...and even the 1st race was very good...

Was quite satisfied with the speed from me with having not practiced the track at all and the haven`t driven the Elan for a while (cause of GTR2-practicing and checking out Race07).
No wonder that i improved during the first race and had then the benefit for the second race...

Looking forward for next season...i have to work on my main handycap: Race-starts...it`s not only at GTL but also at GTR2 and Race07...Always loose several positions..my Nickname should be
Frank "THE BAD STARTER" Rosenbauer...

The good thing is...you have lots of action fighting back the positions..and it`s real fun when the opponents are guys like you all here... :toast:

So thanks for that and big thx to Mario for making the series... :salute:...and look at his fish..unbelievable... ;)

Frank
 :peace out:

An excellent season, just a shame time constraints meant I couldn't do as many races as I would have liked.  Congrats to Cole, Cas and Riv.  Already looking forward to next season.

Race 1 in the Elans I qualified near the back - had some great battles with Bob and Patrick and had made up quite a bit of ground and cruising around midfield when 'ping' connection lost.  Hope I didn't cause any grief where I stopped.

Race 2 in the mighty Daytona which was a real handful around here.  poor start had me near the back by T2.  Chased the pack and the Daytona straight line speed caught me up with the E-types of Jack and Mario.  Then Mario had a bit of lag as his car stopped dead in front of both Jack and I thru the chicane and we both went for an aerial view of the countryside as per Caspars pic (no I didn't punt Jack as the photo suggests !!!!  rotfl ).  Looks quite amusing on the replay with both of us competing for the highjump record......

From then on just kept it on the road and the laptimes kept coming down - wasn't anywhere near the pace of the boys up front but managed to keep it on track.  Dunno where I finished, doesn't matter to me.  Funny thing was I didn't actually pass anybody on the track.... although I did try a dodgy pass on Mario that I bailed out of before it ended in tears - and looking at the replay there was no way it was going to work.....

Highlights of this race were chasing down Dammit as he came to terms with that big red Vette - was some awesome driving mate as you tried to come to grips with the tyres - there were times where I thought you had lost it but the opposite lock  and catch - just brilliant stuff mate.  Then pissing myself laughing as I see the big eyes in the rear view.....  awesome stuff.

Thanks to Mario for the organising, Riven for the server, and all the rest of the team that showed up for a spin in the OSJ season.  Last of all THANKS STICK AND ALL THE PAINTERS for the awesome paintjobs on the Daytona, and the other cars that make them so special and unique to SJ.

Looking forward to some testing in the '76's - I see Riv has the server setup (although the BMW 320's don't seem to work for me??) for a few laps.....

till next time
Azza

Well after a promising start (still trying to figure that win out  :?: ) the season turned to Shite. Learning to mod, family requirements etc just seemed to get on top of me this season. I do however promise to put a better effort in for the next season. I think the killer for me was 2 weeks between races, half the time I forgot what track and car combo (but thats old age) plus running into public holidays etc seemed to make things a little messy. But well done to the podium, well deserved. And thanks to all the behind the scenes guys (Mario, Riven etc...) for another enjoyable season.

Bring on the 76's and maybe the return of the 'Porker Cup' ;)

Medals awarded.  Congrats all.

You may notice the trophies have been downsized a bit...  This is due to the likes of Caspar winning too much.

So, we have plenty of room for all that people can think of and type down, but my inch of medals? Oh no, they are to many so let's cut them into smaller sizes?

It's thievery! I protest!!!   :knockout: :)
