Any issue with tracks that you know of - we've got a week and a half to sort it.

Please register your GTL driver name in GPCOS under your profile.

There will be 1 drop round.

Please select your season car in the car selection thread - please select a car based on your driving ability (ie faster guys in slower cars). League managers will ask any uber quick drivers to change cars if deemed appropriate

GTC65 car choice rounds - you can only drive each car once - and you cannot change car once you have joined server.

Are there any restrictions on car choice (apart from driving ability), ie. is it a free choice from any class? That is a huge range of choice.

I assume the season car must also be a default car, not an addon.

I don't know most of the tracks, so it'll probably be a case of drawing a car out of a hat.

I raced Adeliade 88 in ESJ and while the track isnt bad i would prefer to choose a different one. maybe melbourne or a different version of adeliade?

Stieny reported massive FPS hits that caused him to quit as did a few others and the cut tracks are very severe, i won the race with a drive through and kristof (confuser) came 2nd with 2 drive thru's due to cut-tracks and many others also recieved penalties.. So i think its just too many issues to be a "fun" race, technically you only get cut tracks if you run a tad wide but the margin is so tiny that many times if you make a mistake or get pushed wide its all over.. I mean if me and kristof cant even do a race without getting 3 or 4 cut tracks then its an annoying race.

Surfers paradise isnt to bad in terms of cut tracks but those chicane and tyre walls WILL eat someone i garuntee.

Season Car is from GTC65 Default Class.

Good stuff. Can't wait!!

Couple of q's though:

1. Is the GT40 classed as a GTC65 car or has it been deemed to fast, seeing as it may be competing against elites/alpines etc.

2. For the Skyline GTR mod races, would it be possible (pretty pretty pretty please) for my Winfield GTR skin to be included?

Yikes i wasn't aware this was coming. Doesn't give me much time to practice. I don't even know what cars are available. I can promise you though - it won't be the Daytona. Is the Mini competitive

I thought Azza said the season car had to be a GTC 65 car. So the Cortina is out too.

There is a simple patch file that allows you to unlock all cars in ther game.

That would be a 'cheat' would it. I wasn't raised like that. I guess i'll just have to spend 9 straight days earning enough money to buy a GTC65 car.

Azza, I started downloading the tracks for this season, and am confused about the Monaco one listed in the schedule. It says Monaco 86, but the one in SJ downloads says Monaco 2006. Searching at No Grip, I can find Monaco 88, 2006, 79, 2002, but no Monaco 86. Is there a typo in the schedule, or is there a Monaco 86 hidden in one of the other downloads.

Also, any hints on which version of the other tracks will be used? Many of them have a few variations (short to long) included.

yeah sorry mate its Monaco 2006, as per our downloads. All addon tracks are available from our downloads.

As for the variations - Birmingham we will be using the full GP track. I'll have a look at what other variations there are.........

Haven't got that far yet - any ideas?

How bout .each 24 pack(speight's) to organizer = 10 points
Bottle Bourben = 20 points
jimmys Steak & Cheese pie = 5 points (+ two points per extra sachet of tomato sauce or 3 point's for worchester sauce)
Bag of salt & vinegar crisp's 3 points
Bag of plain chip's =1 point
After all that, the racing is elementary

Nice pass on the video Casper. That 1st big right hander could generate a few "undy stains" me think's

as good as the points sytem kzcole came up with is, i think the moto GP system may be a tad better

Have been into my GPCOS profile and changed my GTL name to [SJ]Bill Thomas. Hope it's OK now and you'll be able to pick it up - is there a way you can check it out?
