Based on driving ability and to give everyone a comparative chance, it looks like the Elite for Dion.

Anybody can beat me.

Although if Dion takes the Elite, I might be a chance against him on a high speed track.

I'm leaning towards the Lotus Elan, at least I can usually keep it on track.

Not in outright pace ..... but i can be generally sure that someone will take him out, or his pc will crash ..... so i do all right

My only driving of GTL outside the Mini and the Cortina was Alfatina LXIX. And i don't think i can hold that up as a yardstick.

edit: I just used Alfatina and Yardstick in the same paragraph - i hope none of the Alfatina boys see this post.

Well id reccomend the Elan then Andrew, great car and would be my choice if i was allowed...

I was thinking id either drive the Alpine or the GT350.

Which one do you guys think?
Alpine is great handling and brakes, but slow speed (easy to pass me on straights)
GT350 is pretty fast but poor braking and handling isnt anything special (though im sure i can make the most of it)

I enjoy both cars, probably leaning towards the GT350 though, may do some lap time testing..

Actually i think id like the GT350 the most, the alpine is technically faster "just" over a lap but i would have lots of fun trying to get the GT350 around the track!!

So what do you guys think? Dion in a GT350? Give him a car thats fast in a straight line for once?

Like you can talk, you used to whoop me last time we raced against one another. If you drive an elite I might have a chance. I think which car is fastest depends on the track. I don't know most of these tracks so I can't judge which will be the fastest and which will be the slowest.

Well the TVR was nice but yeah as a first go i think i'll go for the Elan. Excellent brakes. I drove the elite before it (mistakingly thinking it was the more powerful) and was thinking it was a bit sllloooooowwwwwww.

So i'll just lock in Elan.

I'll take the E-type for a couple of spins this season, only because of the skin, i think i could be as fast as Caspar if i wanted .. just not as awake.
