Hi guys,

A bit quiet here.  :)

I had a look at some info on ATCC (Australian Touring Car Championship) and I found a season that could be perhaps inspiring for OSJ GTL.

It's the 1970 season.

I drove most of the tracks in a Falcon for some laps and here's what I found:

1970 Australian Touring car Championship

1 Calder Park Raceway.

rather bad fps and not a fun track imo.
Needs replacement I think.

2 Bathurst.
MMM Bathurst. Currently not in SJ nor NG downloads but will be made available for us again if we make a season like this, Giz checked with the authorities.

3 Sandown.

fantastic track, looks beautiful and drives like a dream

4 Mallala.
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=6779
great little track, good turns, feels and looks good, good fps

5 Warwick Farm.
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=8548
longer track, just amazing!!! great fps, great track surface, fantastic turns.

6 Lakeside
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=4661
not tested yet.

7 Symmons Plaine.
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=2211
short very nice track. hairpin, fast parts, couple of good turns, nice atmosphere. Looks good, god fps.

I am making my own GTL track testing thread and these tracks will be tested further and I'll post in here:

Remove a couple of the tracks put in Ruapuna and the old Taupo and this would look good.

Still interested but short of practice time until I've been on Hols  and we come back and prepare for our new kitchen to be fitted - say a month.  thumbs up By then I guess the clocks will have done all their strange things and it'll be a 0730 GMT start.  :twit:

I think the GTL-OSJ may be struggling to it's feet, and emerging blinking into the light...
