Knockhill trouble
« on: April 21, 2008, 09:34:16 am »
Almost forgot.

We ran Knockhill in ESJ GTL in the Jag MkII and cancelled the points because there was massive trouble with the ridiculous spree of cut tracks. Cut tracks are fine of course but here a mere off at T last for instance when someone hits you in the braking zone can cause a double cut and severe penalty. Several guys have been puzzled by the unclear number of S&G they had in their bag and were DQ'd . I would like to reconsider this track, especially in a 1 hour race.
I myself had just one cut track I think and I'd deal with it again but it's more important to me that all drivers have fun for the whole duration
Maybe some testing is good to find out for yourself?

A rather fine alternative could be the wonderful Crystal Palace.
There is also a new version out but I haven't tested that yet.
The older one at Nogrip is fine and I raced with them in TC65 cars without problems.

Caspar. :salute:

Hi Guys, Thinking of joining in for this one (my first race with you) but my practise time is limited and I don't know this circuit (Crystal Palace right?) at all. Any hoo, if I do get my sh1t together what times kick off? I've looked and just can't find any mention of it. Could someone with more working brain cells than me please post a link with a suitable smart arse comment just so I can feel just a little bit more embarrased than I am right now.
Thanks
Tony

Have a good time chaps will be thinking of you Sunday morning.  thumbs up :salute: :twit:
