Anyone know if there's a version of Surfers Paradise that's legal for us on SJ servers?  If so, can we use it for this season? :)  There's a version on No Grip, but it doesn't say where it's from.  Could be TOCA though.

I would love to use it, but it is from TOCA. :( The readme says that it was converted from the rF version that was converted by TOCA. And by looking at the pictures before looking at the readme, I could tell that it was probably from TOCA.

Ok, I am very close to putting up a schedule. Just a few more questions. Do you guys think that the Ferrari 250 and the DB4 are a good match against each other. I did some testing last night and they seemed pretty close, within 1 second. What about the 1310 Mini and Corolla? I have not driven either one of these yet.

 Might wanna enable auto-slutch in the 1310 as the starter button no workies. It WILL restart on a roll. I even stalled it backwards on a hill once and bumpstarted it in reverse. hahaha. The 4.2 Jag does the same.

 I been in touch with Sunalp and he's looking into it.

The Ferrari 250 and the Aston DB4 seem like a good match up to me.  I used the default setup for both, and the Aston was horrible to drive like that.  Oversteers like crazy on exit.  Some setup tweaks would fix that I'm sure though.  Aston seems a bit quicker down the straight, but Ferrari seems a bit quicker through the twisties, so it would be an interesting race for sure.

1310 Mini Cooper vs Toyota Corolla is not an even match up at all from my testing.  Though I only tried one track.  I think Corolla vs Abarth would be close.

What tracks were you considering for these combos Rocky?

Thanks for the testing Peter!

Well, for the Ferrari and Aston I was thinking Mondello, a default track, or Misano. The same goes for the Mini or Corolla. Riverside or Sachenring67 for the BMW 320i. Among the other tracks for the TC65 races are Willow Springs, Spa, and Watkins.

I think I will be ready to post the schedule tonight, after I do some more testing.  thumbs up

When I first tried the corlla that was the match-up that came to mind.

Aston DB4
Don't think I would be a good judge of this one as I don't care for it.

1310 Mini Cooper
Ran it @ Sr Jovite North and Kalymai liked it at both. Awfully fast for a mini though.

The Beamer
It is just a fun car. Get the rear end tucked in and hang on.

 I enabled auto clutch today. *sniff* Oh well. Mighta copped out but I spin less. LOL. Steiny will be disapointed in me. :-|
