With 2 races to go in this season, it's time to think about the next one. I can see that we all want another season and the fall should provide for more drivers. I haven't given much thought about next season, as far as car and tracks. I was wondering when Steve would come back, so I haven't put any sort of schedule together yet. I do have some ideas, but haven't put anything together. So, in the mean time, how about everyone post their idea for a race. Any combo, handicaps or not, your choice. This is everyone's league, so have at it. Well, preferably only NA drivers suggest combos, unless you plan on taking part in some race, no matter where you live.

We did this over a year ago and I think it worked out great.

Mini vs Elite @ Dijon Short
1hr single race format.

I recall an ESJ race a while ago with this combo, and it was very close, very fun racing.

Yeah, let's use all the mods this season. The Aston vs. 250 SWB we did in Alfatina was fun! Want to run the TR4 too.

Would like to do Sachsenring '67 or other of that type of track. And let's do Bathurst. Last season my game messed up and I ran out of gas so I didn't get to enjoy one of my favorite tracks! :biggrin:

Ok, we'll look into other cars for next season. Just one question, are these legal?

Another idea for next season is to be in the same car for half of the races. For all of the single race rounds you will be in the same for. We could start off in the TC65 class. So, everyone picks one car they will use for the enitre season. The other 5 rounds will have 2 sprint races in each of them. These will kind of be of the same nature as last season. A specified car or cars at a particular track. So, for round 1, I was thinking that it will be GTC65 @ Zandvoort again, since that race had the most amount of people last season, but it will be 2 sprint races and you have to change cars between races.
What do you think? Also, any more suggestions for combos?

That sounds ok to me.

As for the other cars, the Aston and the Ferrari 250 must be legal since they were used for an AlfaTina round, and they're probably still on the server. The Toyota and TR4 I have no idea about.

Also, there's the BMW 320 mod and the Mini Cooper mod and they're probably legal as well since we've run them before. And there's also a Camero from the 60's which I haven't tried yet, but I've heard good things about. Hopefully it's legal as well.

I agree, especially the 320i's and Camero's they are pretty cool and I think they would be a great addition.

Any other suggestions guys? I am struggling to come up with a schedule, haven't really had the time to. I was thinking about have a 10 round season with every other round having 2 sprint races in it. The single race rounds will be in a particular class and each driver will stick with 1 car for all of the those round. For example we could start with the TC65 class and someone would run the Cortina for those 5 rounds. The other 5 rounds will be special races with a particular car/track combo and using the addon cars suggested. Are those cars just added to the downloads what you guys are talking about? The Ferrari 250SWB, Aston Martin DB4, 1310 Mini, BMW 320i? These must be good and legal since they are in the downloads. I know that SJ has used the BMW and Mini before. We used the BMW a couple of seasons ago as well.

Maybe I did something wrong installing it. (I didn't this go-round) But when I had the 1310 Cooper I noticed if you stall it, it won't restart. You have to go back to the garage and start over again.

I would think the TR4 should be OK too since Butch made it as well as the DB4 & 250SWB.

Check your controller profile and make sure you have a button or key mapped for the starter.

I do. the 1310 was the only car that did it. maybe it was the way I did it as it was when I first did all this stuff. I should try gain and see. I love Minis...Oh yesss..

as far as i can make out so far all are OK apart from the Camaro as that specifically states it is converted from another game

I noticed before (haven't driven it lately) the Toyo is a wee bit tail happy but lot's of fun!

I also found a neat Daimler V8 version of the Jag MkII. Haven't tried it yet but I LOVE that Jag so.....
