Well, here is a proposed schedule for the next GTL season. I have gone off of Steve's already posted proposed schedule and did some testing and made some changes. I am not taking over NA GTL, just helping Steve out until he has more time to do this. Everything is open to discussion and by no means is this schedule set in stone. I would like your thoughts and opinions about the tracks and cars. There are some issues with a fews things, but we can sort them out. I'd like to get this season started in a week or two, most likely on the same day of the week, Saturday, and same time of day, 11PM EST, and using a weekly schedule. thumbs up

Thanks Tyler, but most of it came from Steve. :)

If we want to keep it on Saturday and the same time, which is fine with me, when should we start? Either the 5th or 12th of July. I think the 12th would be better because of the 4th of July. Maybe we could have a preseason race on the 5th, an American special. :)

Wahoo!

Is this going to be weekly, or bi-weekly?

I have a couple of suggestions as well:

In round 1 at Zandvoort, I would like to see the Cobra excluded as well.  Might make for more variety on the grid that way.

Also, round 4 at Mosport, maybe Daytona vs TVR would be a more equal match up?

I'm not trying to pick on the Cobra by the way, I just think almost everyone will choose the Cobra for those 2 rounds, and I think races with variety are more interesting.

Maybe we could have a preseason race on the 5th, an American special. :)

That's a good idea too.  GT350's at Infinieon perhaps?

I am for one happy with the seasons current start time, and the 12th would work fine as well :)

Day & time are fine with me. Starting on the 12th would be better because of the 4th weekend. I think Nordschliefe would stretch a small gruop out and would be a lonely race. Been wanting to run one on Sachsenring 67, but I'll run whatever! :)

Looks good to me. Can't wait to get started!

Weekly :)

That's not a bad idea for round 1. As for round 4, there will be 2 20 min races and we have to switch cars in between, so both cars will be used. :)

Maybe we could have a preseason race on the 5th, an American special. :)

That's also a good idea and maybe adding some other American cars into the mix. :)

And I think we will go for the 12th for the first round. :)
Also, I haven't fully tested the Nord yet with those cars, so it may be changed.

Oh yes, my mistake.  That's fine for round 4 then.  I should have noticed that.

Hi Rocky, everything looks pretty neat to me, but which version of Mosport?  It seems that version 1.21 is current.

Also, which version of Norschleife for the last race?

For those tracks, we are using the ones that are in the SJ downloads. :)

Looks like fun, cant wait to do some NASJ GTL events.

What are the typical fuel and tire wear multipliers used (if any)

It probably be 2x fuel and tires for all races, but definitely for the 60 min races. :) I will add this to the schedule now.

Sweet! I am hoping to get the season started on Saturday 4/12. :)

Oh, and do we want to do a fun run this Saturday? Peter suggested GT350s at Infineon. I think that sounds good and maybe adding some more American cars. I will make a "fun run" race thread when I get a little later. :)

Ok, since Mosport and the Nordschleife have been removed from the server, I put some possible replacements in the first post. It's a shame, but nothing can be done about it.

Also, do we still want to push to start the season this Saturday or should we wait a week?

I'm ready in all cases!  :gtg:

Mosport and Nords are not available..!? :(

I see Limerock twice in the schedule, Vancouver or
Infineon are my choices.

but i have no problem to race Limerock 2 times, i like the track!
