Do we continue on?

Hi Guys!
Well we are about done with the Winter 2008 season. Do you all want to continue on for another 12 weeks? I know that things get busy for folks in the summer. There are a few options before us.

1. Continue with a new 12 week season.
2. Race every other week on a limited schedule.
3. Take a break till the fall.

Other options would be to migrate to the Power and Glory mod in GTR2 and give that a go if there is interest. Or we could just call this a vintage league and use GTL, P&G, and rFactor on a rotating basis using vintage iron only. Entirely up to you guys. I'm game for anything.  :)

If we do choose to continue, I would like to keep the same time slot as we currently occupy. Also, if you were a top finisher in the Winter season, prepare to be challenged to the extreme. I've got some ideas. hehe.  :biggrin:

I like the current format but with summer coming it would be cool to race every other week on a limited schedule. The vintage iron sounds interesting as well :)

I dunno, id kinda like a break.  but this is just my opinion.  dont hold things up for me if the guys want to keep running.

I'd like to keep on running. And I like that vintage iron idea also. But anything will be fine with me. :)

I'd definitely like to keep running.  I'm not a big fan of P&G however, and I don't have rFactor at the moment, but I'll buy it if we're going to use it for this league.  Every other week would be fine by me.

Yes, let's keep going.thumbs up Same time and day is good for me, but maybe every other week or something like that. Not a fan of P&G nor do I have rFactor either. Would like to see the other mods, TR4, 250SWB and the Corolla used along with the 320i.

   I defenitly would like to see this continue. I also like the vintage idea. Time slot is cool and I like the every week but do understand that might not work for all.

That sounds nice.  Mix in some '76's for me.

FlyingFinn, you don't need rFactor for P^&G, you do need GTL and GTR2 though.

Well personally this has turned out to be my favorite league and I see no good reason to stop! So we will keep on with a new season then. Still working out the details. Stay tuned.  :)

Bring on more racing.  I missed way too many races this season, and I think by attending all the races on a schedule I should be able to rank higher in the standings.

i'm definitivly with you for next season. I think April and march are still good for racing, June, July and August are harder for rejoining everyones, especialy the sub-artic species like me who desesperetly
need to see the lights of sun! rotfl

Anyway, from my side the smell of silicone vapors is stronger...

I think we will take a week or 2 off. I need to get a season put together, and am really busy right now with RL. I think we will run every other week over the summer. It seems to be a popular option.
If anyone has a race they would like to see in the new season please post it up in here so I can add it.  thumbs up

For me missing any of our races hurts worse than getting teeth pulled, but a little time off would give me the oppertunity to get Kyle and me setup with PC's and working pedals/wheels for season effort. I'm tired of problems with PC/ISP/Router settings, I just want to race with my buds.
