Well, since this game is based on GPL this shouldn't be hard to include a car like the Lotus F1 79 I think... It's not a car where I was hoping for, but it's a European "car"

Now they just need some open or rented servers to go with it, and I'd be all over it.  :gtg:

well not hard except that 1967 F1 cars have nothing in common with 1979 F1 cars other than 4 tires and the Ford DFV engine.

This might make me renew my membership, if and when it comes out, along with the Riley. However, with this european car, they better make more european tracks!

Well, it's something in between the GPL cars and the Formula Mazda for instance. Thing is that with the Skip Barber, the already mentioned Formula Mazda and now the announced Lotus F1 '79 they certainly have enough single seaters... I just wish they're also going to produce some vintage touring cars now, that should be awesome  :)

Won't you have to race for months and months before you have enough status to buy it?  And then buy a bunch of road course tracks too?

Pretty much.  Well you could buy it and race offline... but we know how exciting that is.

There are a large number of drivers petitioning for open (fun) servers, and league/clubs.  I hope they'll do something to benefit the casual driver.
