You can join only sessions that your licence is eligible for unfortunately..

I am working my ass off to get there. But I just realized I will off course not be able to do so by saturday.......... Next time. I need 1 race or 1 more time trial to be done with rookie ovals and go to D license.. Should not take me long to get up there if I find time for it :)

Take note the promotions to D from Rookie are still 3 weeks away.. Its the first week of seasons. Good news is..
3 more weeks to D from rookie... after that
8 more weeks to C from D..
So you will basically can climb up two licences in this 12 week season..
(Rookie seasons are always 4 weeks, other seasons 12 weeks)

BUT.. you can race COT this season with C +4 because theres no proper oval car for B class.. but when you reach C most likely you cant..
So you have to wait 2 full seasons, thats 24 weeks to be able to race COT.

EDIT:Also make sure you do enough sessions.. mixed amount of TT and Race dont work.. So you need to do enough one of em.. mixing sessions dont count.

Hmmm.  The last one I know.(I have 3 timed and 1 race now... need to fill my quota... It will be done today or atleast by the weekend. sould be able to fill in 3-4 races)
The others... I searched for it, but was a bit busy and left it. Anyway... I guess it will be fine in time...... Promotion sessions are good, but I also hate their guts.....

Takes soooo long. But separates the bullshit from the users I guess.
And of course suck money out of our pockets.

Jarkko do you know which car yet? Oval or road?  I think we need to specify which before hand because that will probably dictate participation.

Miguel, John, Marcus L, Joel, Mike, Jack, Dave P, Skip, Mark and I will try and be there to help as much as possible.

We could also run some races to help get these new guys qualified up a level.

First impressions are positive, though the default cars are pretty slow. The physics are pretty cool I think, that solace car is a drifting king  :rotfl: especially around Limerock. Ran the promotion car at Laguna for a bit and that was fun. I will definitely have to work on my wheel setup (G25) and rotation to suit iRacing before Saturday. I am great full for the free shot at this, a year from now or so when I can work things a bit better I will probably sign up for a year.

Well, since theres all new guys joining in we need to stick to Solstice/Legends.

If you put the wheel to 900 and calibrate it like it says in game, it will automatically give you realistic steering ratio :)
So 900 is all you ever need with iRacing! one of the best ideas in it!

EDIT: Also remember you will get to class D in 3 weeks, so you should be able to race for example truck, skippy and Mazda very soon.
:)

Control Panel - Game Controllers -Wheel settings are  900 degrees , 101% overall ffb, 0% Spring effect, 0% Damper effect, Checked Centering Spring 50%

iRacing ingame settings- 900 degrees, 8-12% FFB (depending on car)

Im having a go at the skippys @ Infineon.. down to a 1'48.1 but curtis is running low 47's... so gotta find some more time.

Probably gonna run skippy and radicals, dont like the mazdas.

try Miguel's setups..they are stable without losing speed. His setups made me enjoy the Mazda.

It was a very, very bad race. In fact the first session of the week where i gained negative SR and iR.
So i take that no one is interested in this?

EDIT:If you are you find me in the Scandinavian chat room..

Guess I am here to stay. I just bought a year now. Next billing will be may 2010....

Wich by that time I will be back to rookie with my reckless driving.

i just did a skippy race @ VIR. qualified 2nd and the 1st guy fell off at the sharp turn after the tree on about lap 3, i was very close behind him all the time so i guess he felt the pressure. So i had an easy race from then on. 1 incident point and a fastest lap of 2'11.4.

What times you guys doin?
