How do I shorten my first name? (Or get them to do it?)  :?:

They are using my name as it appears on my card (Raymond Shove), but I would MUCH rather be referred to as Ray, like I am in everyday life.  :nose:

Rocky Calabrese

Got my invite on Wednesday and just tried to out Saturday night when I got home. I have to say that I am very impressed. Laguna Seca and Infineon are so correctly built. They are nearly perfect! And the driving is just great. When I first started to drive this, I was in the Pontiac and was at Laguna. It felt so real that I braced myself for the corners because I thought I was going to experience the g-forces. lol

The downsides of this simulator is that the costs to use it adds up. :( And I have to be connected to the internet to use it, which isn't that bad.

 thumbs up

Indeed. I am hoping that they will follow suit with most pay to play games. Once they get there inital investment back, the price of cars and tracks goes down.

That's me! I got my invite last week and tried out the game, oh excuse me, the 'simulator'  lol I was also pretty impressed. Still trying to figure out what impressed me more, the intese and realistic driving experience, or the cost of the cars and tracks....

Serge Hendrickx, signed up for a month, will have to decide if it's worth the money. It's good, and fun, and impressive even, but I'll have to see..

If I decide to keep it then I'll sign for a year to get the 75$ credit (before the 29th)

Tdubya - Toby Wilhite

Just downloaded it last week and I'm pretty impressed with the feel of the cars I've tried.  The racing on road courses with the Soltice is a bit on the boring side right now, because I'm so slow.  I have to follow the guys in front of me for laps and laps before they make a mistake before I feel confident enough to make a pass.  I guess it's because the cars are a bit slow to begin with and perfectly matched setups means everyone is on a level playing field.  It'll take some getting used to for sure.

Ah there's nothing better to reinforce one's mediocrity than joining a competitive MMO simulation.

well i've canceled my subs
i find it quite a lonely experience and all too serious because of the pay per play.
as a sim, its pretty good.
