My name is Jim and im a 51 year old Heavy Equipment Operator from Southern California and I just submitted my application to join. Its been a good while since I have done any racing so im a little rusty. I have GTL and GTR2 installed and rfactor around here somewhere for my racing and COD4 and COD5 for my FPS right now.I just installed Ventrillo tonight and will setup and check in tomorrow. I just got laid off and it looks like I have a couple months vacation on my hands and look forward to meeting and racing with you all!

Welcome to Simjunkies. I had to fix your user name in the forum, and you might have to reset your password. I've sent you an Email detailing how you can recover that if need be. Again, I'm really sorry for the trouble. The site was using your nickname, while the forum was using your real name. That is an issue that should be fixed for other newcomers within a few weeks.

Sorry to hear you got laid off. I think you'll find plenty here to keep you entertained while you look for a new job. I'm in the same position as you, so I've been spending way too much time around here.

Welcome Jim! Good to see another guy in my time zone that plays GTL, GTR2, and rFactor! We should have a PnG league going on for us NA (north american-I would not want to make any of SJ sore) guys in maybe about a month. It is still in the works so keep your eyes out!
