I read about 'SJ' last night and I am looking forward to joining up with some of the leagues that are here. I have been in Sims Racing for about 3 years now. The following Sims Racing games I have are; GTL, GTR2,GTR Evolution/Race07, rFactor/VHR09 and NASCAR Sim Racing.

I like to race for fun and to joke around with others. I am a former member of Race2Play. I left their racing outfit because it was getting to serious for me and I was not having any more fun racing there. I was looking for another site last night where I can call home. I found your link here at Simbin so I clicked my way on over.After reading up about here you got my interest.

I still have to learn how this site works as I am still a bit confused where to find things and how to join up in the leagues and races. If I get stuck and I know I will, I'll give a shout for help.

Hi Doug and welcome

Hopefully you can see the 'join us' button on the left which will lead you to the application form. Gizmoto will then send you an eMail with the server passwords etc.
After that, check out 'what on' via the button on the left panel or just cruise around the forum and the notice board.
Hopefully you'll find a league to fit your time zone and availability.
I'd write more, but I'm still recovering from our Friday night 'social' and things are still a bit blurry

I race with Doug at R2P when he ran an indie league. Nice all around guy who loves to race. I wanna see you on track in GT Legends or WSC 70!!

I don't know if you saw that I left the site (aye).. Tim even deleted my farewell blog LOL I guess he is upset at me for leaving.

Anyways..

What a surprise. How many other Team CCBB Motorsports members are here? Just you and I?

I have to reinstall my GTL. Does it work on Vista? I haven't played GTL for 2 years now.

make sure to read your "welcome" email should be in ya inbox as long as spam filter hasn't nabbed it it has links to all places needed to get setup and on the server to race in every and all leagues

yes all the games run fine on Vista ......recently gone to vist and they all working fine here

Hi Doug and welcome to SJ

I run vista too and have had no issues with any game aside from NK2003 which we don't run here

We are running a ASJ (Americas - North, Middle and South) GTL race tonight if you fancy.

You will first need to pick a car from the selection thread

Second you will need the SJ GTL Car Pack to get on the server with us without any issues.

And third, here is tonight's event information

The car pack is a one time deal. I am also covering moderator duties for RockyC tonight as he is out of the office so to speak. He will be back in his chair after the race tonight

Hope I haven't forgotten anything... Oh yeah, it's beauty seeing some more Canadians signing up at SJ

I am not sure if I will be able to make it JuneBug I don't even remember my online log-in info for GTL.

And I don't think the email exists any more to retrieve the info I need to get online. I may have to buy another one

I remember that very well. We were not going to give in on that corner. Neither of us were going to slow down so the race continued into the sand. Emerson won out at the end. Coming to the end of the sand I had a barrier to go around.
