Support of more than 1 controller?
« on: January 21, 2009, 11:01:33 am »
Ok since the flying bug has bit me I'd like to make/fab a switch panel like a button box but use it for flying..I found a usb board that is fully programmable with its own settings here  http://www.leobodnar.com/ but before I indulge in this project I ahvent seen anywhere if IL2 supports 2 usb controllers. Any help would be great!

IL2 will suport multiple controllers ............i just started using my G25 pedals along side the X52 stick as my rudder pedals  {only i do have a little issue with losing calibration with the stick sometimes} ......

............i would like it if IL2 would take the stick as first controller and the G25 as the second but so far i haven't found out how ...............I've altered the controller ID in win XP  using a little ID changer app so the stick is on ID 1 but still IL2 picks the stick as ID2

I know sometimes USB ports are numbered...depending on where you plus it in to it will read it as first or 2nd controller..had that issue with my G25 and button box..thanks for the info and reply.

It'll work just fine, your ID and calibration issue is with the saitek stick, not IL2.

You had your wheel and drivers installed before your stick, so windows gives it dibs on being ID1 no matter the port in some cases.
