Overclocking Q6600, how far?

Okay so I remember seeing that my cpu (Intel Q6600) cpuld be overclocked fairly easily.

 I been pretty happy with it as is. But since adding Active Sky Advanced to FSX have found it "jerky" time to time. I was looking at a fairly priced upgrade from my 9800GT but upon looking at some of the stuff on it saw that apparently FSX may be more effected by CPU.

 So my question. Anyone here have the Q6600 and have yyou O/C'd it? and how much?

 Thanks Nailzy.

 I decided to go with 3.0 GHz from the 2.4 it comes with. So far okay. Going to add anothwer cooling fan when I open it up this week. One's on it's way as I had to order a new PSU for the PC I'm building my daughter and ordered fans also....should be here tomorrow actually.

 Thanks man. I knew HOW to do it, was just wondering if any felow SJ members had with this CPU and what their experiences with it was.

Be carefull if using autovoltage etc. options, sometimes mobos kick in too much power.

had it running stable on 3.2  (8x400), reverted back to standard after I had some Evo crashing but think thats more likely a nvidia driver issue looking back.  Will probably go again for 3.2 if I find the time to do it on a weekend. I pushed it once to 3.6 was stable as well but had little temp issues as I run on air, so I think 3.6 is about the max you can go for without water cooling and such

 Thanks a lot. that helps.

 I'm running it at 3.0 now and noo problems. I also overclocked my 9800GT and after a few crashes, have set it at 707 core and 1133 mem. set the fan to 75% and it's staying right on 55C-60C.

 I also have a fan to add that came today but won't be adding it until I crack the case for some other stuff when I get time. (Need to finish my daughter's PC first and waiting for parts......also need to wait until i move my rig around as I can't get TO the case right now.,.....lol )
