Quote from: Starforce website
Programs protected by v3.07.014 and earlier versions will not support Windows 7. Due to a long lapse of time between old protection versions and Windows 7 beta releases, there are significant differences in technology, which does not allow implementing such support. Users of such products should contact the protected program developers or publishers to obtain Windows 7 patches, or use previous Windows version to run the products.

StarForce offers free re-protection for all the developers and publishers of the programs that utilize version 3.07.014 and earlier to release the appropriate patches. Please contact us at sales@star-force.com for re-protection and further details.

GTL is proteced by v3.06.xxx so that means no official Windows 7 support, unless the developer or publisher of the game releases a patch... but we know how likely that is  :twit:

Okay i'm starting to dislike software protection now.  A perfectly good game killed because of the encryption software - great solution!!

So, XP 64 bit will run a wackload or RAM also? The 3 1/4 GB only applies to 32 bit?

If so, can I install 64 bit over 32 bit?

Though yeah, probably better for a fresh install......

What I'm also wondering though is will it run more? I was reading an article on 64bit in a British PC mag and it seems to say just that.

Like DRokK said, if your motherboard can handle more it will be able to run more... but honestly 8gb is a bit overkill right now.

X64 Windows 7 Home Basic can only deal with a maximum of 8 GB of RAM  I read somewhere but the home premium can handle
192gb which is more than enough lol

That could be the case Hendrix... MS wants people to buy a more expensive version by enforcing stupid limits like that  :)

Yep your right Kristof
I was really pissed off with them for reducing the time that they had Win 7 on special offer saying it was sold out... sold out wtf....
