New guy
« on: January 15, 2009, 10:13:29 am »
I have been painting cars for a few years now and to be honest I really dont share many of them.
Mostly paint cars for leagues and such.
Anywho, here are two from the past. I just like to paint oddball stuff and render it with a odd scene.

Hmmm, I' not allowed to attach pics yet I guess, sorry for those on dial up.

Damn those are some slick looking skins.

We have a site we built that we are trying to work the bugs out of.

http://racesimpaint.com

I know you said you don't normally share, but man those are good.  You ought to!

That reminds me.  I need to sort out the sections for GTR2/Race/Evo and that lot this weekend.

Lastly I'd like to thank yet another talented painter to make me feel unimaginative!  After the last car I've decided not to paint again.  Pete, don't we have a bet to settle there?

It's not done yet.  But it's getting close.  If you have any feedback please share it with us.

Looks good if you ask me, I like being able to give feedback. That is always a major plus.
Just noticed the tutorial section, that's a great idea and well done.

It is possible, and it's something I'm working on.  Still doing some testing on a test server.  Hopefully we'll have it all done early next month.  :fingers crossed:

Nice one mate.  The uploads section is something we're still testing, so if you could report back, that would be great.  How are you at writing tutorials?  We could do with some extra contributors.

I have made a few but they are all video and there intention was for the guys at the Misfits league, I would be kind of embarrassed if I toss them out into the wild. Maybe I'll clean them up a bit and post them some day. I know I always appreciate when someone does a tut for something I'm trying to learn.

I just tried to upload a car at the Paintshop.
Problem: There isn't any browse feature to select the packed car to upload, all I was able to do is upload a image.
The upload center button has no JS function to it.

Can't see any obvious reason why the Upload button is broken...  but you're right, it is!  We'll have to do some more investigating.

Heya Jeff, glad to be here. I'm seeing a few names I'm familiar with.

Thanks Byron, I'll give it another go here in a bit.
