If you have a car you wish to add to the carpacks, post them here.

few guidelines:

1. Make sure you have permission from the author. (to pack and host)
2. Include download link
3. Cars must be standalone cars
4. Preferably add a screenie
5. Remember to post authors name and any special needs he might have (some want us to add link to installer etc.)

Please dont spam this thread, lets keep it clear and simple.

Just to add: Even though we're not running team events with GTR2, you might still want to run your team colours, in which case post a request here and someone might paint you a car.

I was about to make a Team Rizla Lister skin when I found 1 on No Grip - http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=5505

I have cleared the use of it here with telferman typhooner skins who has made some very nice skins.

This seems to become a "black season". Many black cars so far...i wanted to use also a mainly black car but switched yesterday to a more colorful one so that we more differences...still waiting for the permission from the painter... :zzz:

What is the deadline for announcing my carskin? Is it possible to first use a standard car and switch to the skin when i get the permission later in the season?

You can request cars to be added on this thread, and we will eventually see what we use with The Jury.
After we have enough cars, they will be released in a carpack and also installed to server.
Also note that they need to be standalone cars, skins to existing cars wont be approved.

If you want to use them in SJ, they all go through review and will be released in official Simjunkies carpack.

Nope, nothing official anyway.

I would much prefer if the members would do also some painting, i will not release a pack full of no grip cars, without any SJ cars included! Also note if its not in this thread, theres large possibility that i will miss it.
I will be finishing pack whenever theres enough cars, and also i really really wish to see more locally painted cars.
So far theres only 7 no grip cars on review..

I believe i did. I spoke with the author, and explained that i wished to use it for a racing series at SSR, which required the car being added to a pack, and he said it was fine. Have sent him another pm; awaiting response.

Yes, you are correcy Andy, but not everyone's skin they want to use has been made for them. If ya know what I mean. For example, Joe wants to use the Valvoline Lambo skin from nogrip. As far as I know, it was not made for him. So, we have to get permission from the original maker/owner to use it in a SJ carpack, if I understand it all correctly? I believe and hope we will have a SJ GTR2 carpack soon.

Wont make a carpack without any SJ skins ? We a team here or what, i dont skin there fore i will ALWAYS use out-sourced skins ! I'm SJ to the bone but dont skin <shrug>. Not to sound shitty or whatever but im quite sure theres more of us here that dont than do, and i figured we were catering to the community in whatever manner seemed best accomodating. If a skin was publicly released at a site like GTR4U.de or NG for all to dl why would they quam about it being used in someones league events ? Maybe im missing something here.

Yes you are missing somehing. We mostly have Nogrip skins going to pack atm.. but if the pack dont have any SJ skins at all it wont come out.. Most definitely it needs to have some local effort too.. it just makes sense.. and should encourage people to paint.

Quit bitchin Dawg, theres not enough cars yet to release a pack anyway!

EDIT:Just wanted to add thats exactly what was done here that using outside SJ cars will serve the growing needs of the community. Remember the packs used to be only SJ cars. Im sure some people want to have an SJ painted car rather than get one from outside.. its just pleasing everyone.. theres several cars requested to be painted, now we need to dig the painters from somewhere, dont know where they have gone! Special thanks to Andy Fuller for being first one submitting an SJ car.

Replying to Rocky, I understand it will take time to get the carpack in order, and that the pack must be released before I can use my skin, I was just trying to get my stuff sumitted as soon as possible after I saw the post in the car request page.
