Ehr.. guys... just yesterday i've invited an old friend over.. well.. he's not that old... but here goes..
He was trying to get GTL to run and encountered a lovely problem which i dont think anybody has adressed yet.
He has the game installed, yet the online part... about 3-4 years ago was his last venture into the online world of Racing, be it GTR or GTL.. but now he's got trouble remembering his username and password. Just last night he's tried a multitude of combinations which it "might have been"... now here's the real problem....
What if a new guy walks into a store, buys GTL (online store then) and wants to race online... the lobby patch might work, but the registering of a new account IS NOT.
In other words, newbies wont be able to run online at this moment... has anybody seen or heard any workaround to that?
As simply reregistering an account would help my buddy Crewchief (real name: Chris, or SirCrew on comms) a lot actually.
How does one go about performing such a normally simple task.... and can we use our simbin connection for it maybe?
