Replacement for Knockhill = Crystal Palace race will be Jags again so if anybody fancies giving the track a few laps on line the server is set to test the track before it's finally picked as the replacement  thumbs up

Jarkko did a 1.02.55 i think it was.. i did something like a 1.03.4  on Crystal

exciting track to run at, allthough i doubt it will be carnagefree.. if you overdrive a corner.. you'll be deadstopped on track and nobody can steer clear and WILL plow into you...  tough cooky.. but should be fun!

Track runs well and it's a BLAST, especially with these cars. Hell, even Kristof might enjoy himself.

Knutstorp Tinas, Estoril GTC65, Crystal Palace MkII. Life doen't get any better than this!
Enjoy the season's final 3 races guys, I know I will!  thumbs up thumbs up

Thanks Giz,

Caspar.

I'm sorry but i now have a concerns about Crystal Palace  :jawdrop:

these are
1, First right hard hander,,  if anybody takes it a little to wide you don't "brush" the rail  9 x out of 10 you car will come to a dead stop facing the wrong way directly where everybody else is gona be it's as if there is an invisible brick wall you hit   :jawdrop:

2, very last turn coming onto pit straight ,, exact same as first concern

i did a lot of laps last nigh and the track fits these cars very nicely  and would make a fantastic race except for the 2 concerns this is a disaster waiting to happen .....AND IT WILL  so I'm thinking of another track to use to save this happening

Hmm, seems like I have a reputation of being hard to please about tracks  I guess with Spa and Zolder as national tracks that might seems to make sense  :)

Knutsdorp is a good track for TC65's, Estoril isn't exactly my cup of tea, but as it's a GTR2 track, the graphics are good. I didn't tried Crytal Palace yet.
If I can make the races, I'll participate  ;)

We had a little bash with Steiny yesterday.. yeah that turn is tricky and indeed one went off and then we hit eachother a good few times.. but its a damn fun track it would be shame to drop it.. risky it is though.. (but hell, we have done races in tighter places too though)

under normal conditions Jarkko i wouldn't think twice about running the race there,  but due to recent activities I'm dubious about running a tight race with peoples feeling towards accidents I'm just thinking on the side of caution if i could find a track with no turns especially a turn 1 I would do lol

hmm.. oh yeah.. and anybody check the pits in racingconditions?  i didn't for Crystal... in practice you come from behind the pitstalls and move towards the left.. then u-turn into the correct direction of track.. lol

it's good enough for alfatina.. it's good enough for a funrun..

Woof ~ WOof

Edit..but in GTL there are not many T1 mishaps... as somehow it's more layd back..and more curtious because we all know they are hard to drive and we know usually where the hell TOm is to take out  (pun tom.. we try to avoid ya m8.. we really do!) (ill smite someone who screws up next GTLracestart!.. grrr!)
but then again.. ill be the first one to recognize a medivac helicopter is needed if i survive that T2 corner.. and well.. laugh myself to death at seeing a massive pileup behind me, only to later, might i survive my odeal, get smited in real life with sigarettbutts at the goodwood event aka Ted's back Garden.

rotfl  altough the thing about tracks is also true (to a certain extent), I obviousily do hate the Jag MKII because it's not a race car in the first place. However it's good for a laugh I guess  :)

good point about not a "Race" car  i think a "Race" jelly mould is more fitting
