GTL-ESJ Season 7 teams
« on: August 25, 2009, 01:30:51 pm »
As already outlined in the other S7 thread, teams can consist out of 2 to 4 drivers. Since the total team score will be divided by the number of allocations it does not really matter how much races you can make too! So please join a team as it's more fun when we got a large number of teams  :)

In this thread team captains can search for drivers and drivers can search for a team  :)

Teams:
Area51 (Dion Holzheimer, Cobra and Jack Riley)
Team Lowlands (Kristof Huyck, Granada and TheChamp)
Team Petrolheads (DRokK, DenDanger, Krister and Stein)
The Cranky Pistons (GizMoTo, Caspar and Earnhardt)
Team Tortoise (Beta, ?)

I'll try out a team!
I'm still fairly new to slim racing in general. heck, not even a year old.
But i'm improving fast.
Never been on a team so just walk me through it.

Just have an idea perhaps: national/regional teams

For instance:
Team Oceania (Dion & Jack)
Team Holland (Caspar, Steiny and TheChamp)
Team Scandinavia (Kimmo, Krister and Jarkko)
...

There would be more than one British and Canadian teams needed I guess  :)

Well i like the idea of Country/Region based teams (obviously it doesnt have to be that way..) but it has benifts, practise sessions could be much easier to manage being in the same or similar time zones for instance..

Well as a Team Manager (makes me sound important..) Id like to extend out my request for interest with Aus/NZ based drivers..

Jack either way it goes down (region or not) i want to extend an invite to Area 51, that is if you want it.

Once we get the final guidelines sorted then we can sort the rest of the team out... Caspar obviously drives with me for a long time now, so depending on the guidelines depends if that stays the same or not.. (caspar id never kick you out mate!)

looking forward to the suggestions and feedback, hopefully we can get some strong teams to compete, i mean we still have Kimmo, cobra, stieny, kristof and plenty more fast drivers. I mean a teams championship would be pointless if we had Myself, kimmo, Kristof and Rik on the same team...

It's a good idea too. I meant that it could be like the real world. Some teams, some not teams. Like me. lol

Firstly I really like the idea with teams and building them regional/national is a good way of doing it but I think we also should allow teams crossing regional/national boundaries.

Yeah, I think many drivers would like Kimmo as their teammate (and Jarkko too, but I doubt he will participate)  :P

I never been on a team before. Cool.

 When you're a Jet,
You're a Jet all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dyin' day.

When you're a Jet,
If the spit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You're a family man!

You're never alone,
You're never disconnected!
You're home with your own:
When company's expected,
You're well protected!

Then you are set
With a capital J,
Which you'll never forget
Till they cart you away.
When you're a Jet,
You stay a Jet!
