Joo, great variety in the calendar as far as I can see.
But -if I may ask- is there any realistic chance to have an ESJ race at the "Nordschleife V2 Tourist" -no matter in what car(s)? I think it was said that the Nordschleife is too long which leads to boring races; but I remember a fantastic SJ event with the Cortina 2 years ago... Or is it the sheer level of difficulty that lead to an total abstinence of 'the Ring' in our GTL events?
Wouldn't we also drive the Targa Florio in spite of it's lenghts (ok, it's a GPL track still in development, but that's GTL car territory, isn't it?)
Just some thoughts from a passionate Tourist- and GTL North Loop Driver  :hats off:

Well, in GTL-SJC we have raced NS during the endurance season and recently NS was raced in the P&G Endurance season, so I do select it for schedule (while I don't really like the 'track')

The issues with Nordschleife is that it's a nice track/road to drive on your own, but because it's quite narrow (clean) passing is very difficult. Secondly there is the length of the track which makes it hard to memorize all the corners and also makes it less suitable for short events.
You also have to pick VLN or 24h version as otherwise you don't have good pit facilities ;)

I'll already have ideas for S7  :hmm: with NS on the calendar

Another great lineup!  But, am I to understand this will be on Fridays instead of Saturdays?

If so, I guess I'm out.

Ok, thanks Kristof, and yes, I can follow every single argument. I know very well that I missed the endurance event at the N-Ring. Nevertheless I'd looking forward to having again an ESJ race there :)

Schöne Grüße!

You've got my full support for Zandvoort if we speak about the 1967 layout (I am dreaming about the film sequence of 'Grand Prix' now).  Who will take Stoddarts part? ;)

Old cars belong to old tracks  :excited:

I dont think the '67 version is the one that's currently laying near the beachline as we speak... i didn't say anything about any version of the Nordschleife now did i?

and if i'd mention Zandvoort.. you've noticed i wasn't using the "    '67    "  together with it, now did i? :hmm:

I just love the current layout, makes for good racing, not a lover of the old one at all.

It should also be noted that Spa '67 just looks horrible graphics wise... And I also am not really a fan of the '67 layout of Zandvoort and Spa as well. In both cases the current layout is better imo.

How on earth is the slow, slippery new Zandvoort better than the old, fast and breathtaking version!
Love the old one! My favourite track in GPL.
(personal preferences i guess)

Bueno, I just expressed my special favour for the '67 Zandvoort which does not mean that I in particular dislike the 'modern version'. I spoke about 'wishes', not 'claims'.

I think we all just expressed our opinion here about the layout of modern Zandvoort vs '67 one... The only 'claim' I made was about the poor graphics of the GTL/GTR2 '67 Zandvoort add-on track.

Of course!
There's eh,...well there's, ehhh......wait....      ..........HEEEEELP!

No, there is no whole track that I don't like.

There's bits that I really loath though.

Like last 3 turns of Silverstone, sections of Valencia, chicanes at Monza, T3 and 4 at Nuerburgring, most of Oschersleben and several more.

And then there are tracks I LOVE and also single corners I really really like. But I go sleep now first, it's better, haha. :)
