Leinz & Nuernburg Village FUNRUN
« on: August 16, 2009, 04:34:49 am »
And what a chaos it was...

Decided to make some footage, and guess what.. my booming voice doesNOT get recorded.. hehehe

Some footage from one of the practices.. I guess Moezee hadn't loaded us as he's never that rough.. hahaha

Specially note Caspar's "the restart of restarts"  and Steve's "it's important to have the tags on, so you can see ppl comin" (next second i see ski!)
oh .. and eh... languagewarning!
Practice Nurby first time

And... the start of Race 1

Nuernburg race 1

Shame for the "restart of restarts" .. hehe.. as this watchdog was in 1st!

hell on earth.. hehehehe Thanks Kristof, you just knew nothing would be "tidy" eh?

In the end, only Moezee and Ski finished Nuernburg Village, not without substancial damage

same about the damage goes for Lienz... but 5 finishers i think it was..  and Champ and me doing a doublejump

Good fun gents, thank you!

Loco, just plain loco!   :bang:   :rotfl:

The best part was, in the second video, where Steiny had a car coming the other direction, a wrecked car on the right, and he goes right between them!  WoW!

Now that was fun!

Finally had one of my best race since joining SJ.

Saw a Capri out there, Was deciding on that or the Escort. Think i made the right choice but wanted to say how that Capri was handled out there. Good job despike some errors you made.  :)

Didn't realize that we had to run with the name tag on. Sorry, i can't drive with that on. Its distracting and annoying. Watch mirrors closely anyways. Turn that on when curious to know.

Loads of fun on both tracks. Can't say SJ is never short on entertainment.  :excellent:

Lol Mozee... if it weren't for that restart... i wonder how far ahead you guys would have been, or if i HAD hit that wall.. If... anyways.. funny how after the restart only 2 guys actually finished:  both Ski and Mozee! hahaha

Afterall.. this was "Dodgeball" now wasn't it Heatcan?  hahahaha

Great fun gents, oh and Mozee, i normally leave the tags on during the race untill the point i can remember blindy who's in what car... and for the purpose of the video it's kinda handy to see who's who in one glance.

Dont know if you guys noticed Granny.. how his tag got longer and longer.. and as i came past that point, about 3 seconds later Granny sayd "sh*t"  ... i looked at those stripes as in "did he really.. "   ... then after the confirmation.. "yep.. he did!"

We didn't have to mate. Steve just mentioned that it's nice for seeing where cars are.
I use it for that purpose many times but also to know who I am up against.
After a loooong while you tend to learn people's habits and driving characters.
In the first vid it looks like you didn't see one car at all. I think that's what Steiny was referring to.  lol (?)
Great racing by the way. Nice to see you go that quick.  :hats off:
Our qualy times; 2.44.4 (or 3.44.4) and 2.44.6 (or 3.44.6) or so for pole and 2nd position on a track we never saw before.......ridiculous!  :rotfl:

ehr.. interpreted that a bit wrong maybe..

that you came in between the lot of us and started banging, is not your fault, you were already doing laps as we loaded up the track wtih the correct car... that's why every 2-3 laps you've got to jump into the pits to load those few that have come into the server as you were lapping!..  You never did see us, nor were you able to.. dont worry about that!

I knew Nuerburg Village would be perfect for a fun run  :P It was really a shame I couldn't make this one. I'm sure we'll race this track another time  :)

Nice video's Steiny  :hats off:

Think it's THE Alfatina track..... lol
That's where the phrase 'restart of restarts' came up.  :rotfl:
